Yes, we've been hearing that for forty years.

I know it's very disappointing  all the strongly worded letters, UN pronouncements, news conferences  but not a  single sanction, embargo, war crime prosecution  disgusting.

Why is it ok for one side in this conflict get massive support for their crimes, yet the other gets condemned for alleged war crimes?

Because one side is killing jews. Guess which side?

They wont be able to resist once they are dead.

Move the "homeland" to New York ,Hollywood  or Western Germany...why do you want your "homeland" to be surrounded by

hostiles that you constantly have to wage war against ?

Now, now, @johng  ... you know it's not realistic to suggest moving the Jewish homeland to the U.S. or Germany.  Jews don't want their homeland to be surrounded by hostile people and nations; Jews hope their neighbors would become friendly.  There's no reason Jews and Arabs can't live beside each other in peace as long as Arabs have the will to do so.

Early Zionists  in the 1880s chose Palestine as the site of the future Jewish homeland for practical reasons as well as the Biblical connection.  Back then, the slogan of the Zionists was "A land without people for a people without a land."  At that time, Palestine was a wretchedly poor and underdeveloped corner of the Ottoman Empire with few inhabitants.  The early Zionists were welcomed because  they brought with them economic opportunity, advanced agricultural techniques and jobs for poor Arabs.

Once the Arabs recapture that spirit, then true peace can come to the Middle East.

They are  and the international community  increasingly  agrees.

The Israeli government is not committing atrocities and the opinion of some parts of the international community is irrelevant.  The Jews of Israel will continue to defend themselves as they have done since 1948, no matter what crowds of antisemites are yelling in the streets of European or North American cities.

If they want friends why do they keep provoking wars ?

Here's an idea Israel release  all the Palestinian prisoners  in exchange for all the "hostages"

   Bad idea .

Sinwar was a prisoner in an Israeli jail, jailed for numerous murders.

He was previously released in a prisoner exchange for hostages .

Sinwar went on to organise and lead the Oct 7 th terror attack

Its better to stick to the subject matter .

Other allegations of other crimes can be discussed in other threads

So, you are saying that they don´t sum up the characteristics of the person in question? I know they do, so it has high relevance to the thread and the subject.

Now try the same on somebody less intelligent.

If necessary. Surrender and give up your anti jew ideology or die.

If Jews have a right to exist, you cannot deny their right to defend themselves. We know how you feel already so no need to respond further.

Notice how they equate common criminals and murderers with "freedom fighters".

Do you know that if a Palestinian teenager grabs a jewish child, rapes it and then cuts off its head in public, his family gets money and he is cheered as a hero.

Imagine. A culture that glorifies rape, terror and murder.

Just ends up with every thread being the same with the same discussion each time , with the same people saying the same thing back and forth to each other .

That's why its better to keep to the current topic .

Even in courts of law, you aren't allowed to bring up previous allegations or convictions

Just now, johng said:

Jews didn't provoke any wars.  In 1948,  the Zionists accepted the U.N. partition plan for Palestine.  The Arab League and local Palestinian leaders rejected it.  As soon as Israel declared independence,  the former Palestinian mandate was invaded by five  Arab countries and the first Arab-Israeli War began.  Since then, Israel has signed peace treaties with most neighboring nations, but groups like Hamas refuse to accept Israel's right to exist.

That's the main obstacle to a lasting peace.  Once all Arab groups acknowledge Israel's right to exist as the homeland of the world's Jews, many things can be negotiated.

Just one question for @johng and any other supporters of Ha-, oops, I mean the Palestinian people.  Do you believe in the literal truth of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion?

The last thing Netanyahu wants is a negotiated end to this conflict.  He needs Gaza flattened and the Palestinians gone or dead.

You dont negotiate any more, they had their chance last year. Kill until they are all dead, then salt the ground, then go out and clean up the remnants.

They try to say that. However, I think some didn´t. However, it´s not important for these groups as there will always be people in line to take over the positions. There is no chance in the world the eradicate them and should be no need for that. What they should do, is to respect each other and their respective areas. That is impossible, because it will never happen. Same with Israel. If they kill or remove Netanyahu, there will always be another idiot in line.

Israel will attack Qatar again

So that's the answer? You both support genocide?

Please, none of the 'Israel has been - attacked by Hamas; etc'  rhetoric.

It's amusing how the left has redefined genocide, such that anyone they do not like is committing it.

Palestine is trying to commit genocide in Israel.

Israel's war on Hamas has nothing to do with genocide, any more than the attempts to destroy Al Qaeda and ISIS are genocide.  The definition of genocide has been expanded by Israel-haters to include Israel's entirely justified military actions against Hamas.  It would be ridiculous to say the destruction of the Medellin cartel amounted to genocide against Colombians or the pursuit of Nazi war criminals was genocide against Germans.

The Israeli government and IDF are trying to wipe out a terrorist group which has vowed to destroy Israel.  That isn't genocide by any legitimate definition.
