I agree wholeheartedly. I just woke up to this news and I am sickened by it. Charlie Kirk was a true gentleman.

 

I also fear this political assassination will trigger some serious anger across the pond this weekend at Tommy's free speech rally.

Did you watch the video?  That didn't sound like a pellet gun to me.  The shooter was apparently on a roof some distance away.  So no way that was a pellet gun.

I did and I saw the rifle they took from him. It looks to be a Ruger pellet gun. They are as powerful as a .22 rimfire. 
Though I thought I saw a magwell in one image so it might be a .22 rimfire.
