London Protests: Rival Anti-Migrant Demos Draw Thousands

It's also likely that many were contracted and paid to show up.  Google "Crowds on Demand".

Here's a good article to start down the rabbit hole:

What Is 'Crowds on Demand'? US Firm That Pays People to Attend Protests – And How You Can Apply | IBTimes UK

https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/

A controversial US-based firm, 'Crowds on Demand', has generated headlines by charging clients to create highly visible protest crowds—paying individuals to attend rallies, political events, and PR stunts, a practice critics equate with 'astroturfing'

Founder and CEO Adam Swart has revealed on Fox & Friends that the company has witnessed a staggering 400 per cent increase in paid protester requests, particularly around high-stakes political events in Washington, D.C., compared to the same period in 2024.

That calls into question the legitimacy of every "organic" protest.

Back in 1987 or 1988, I had a job interview by telephone, with a woman in Berkeley California, for a job as a protestor.   The protesting job paid $15.00 an hour which was about 1/2 to 2/3 rds more than the minimum wage at  the time.  I could have used the money but the fact that I was undergoing a back ground investigation for the federal agent job I had been hired for, I thought it might be wiser to not work as a protestor for the left's agenda.

One thing about the interview I learned is, you did not have to know anything about the reason for the protest.   You showed up, checked in with the person managing the protest, learned what the chant was, picked up the protest sign, then attended the protest.   The one thing that the person that interviewed me was adamant about was, if you want to be paid, you must check in when you arrive at and you must check out when you leave the protest staging area!

I know a woman that lives in Maryland whose son was (I don't know if he still is) the manager of an office that hired protestors and arranged protests.   I think the pay was upwards of $45.00 an hour or more.

In this case, I doubt they hired 150,000 (or more) protesters.  But they could easily afford a few dozen counter protesters.

I've seen some "help wanted" ads for similar services (not Crowds on Demand), and they seek out people who "aren't afraid to mix it up".  They have a multi page contract and NDA they have to agree to, or they don't get paid.

"Speakers at the event include far-right figures such as French politician Eric Zemmour, German AfD MP Petr Bystron, commentator Katie Hopkins, and Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson."???

Jordan Peterson is not far-right. Based on his stated views, self-identification as a classical liberal, and analyses from various sources, he aligns more closely with conservative or center-right ideologies, emphasizing individual responsibility, free speech, and traditional values.:whistling:

He may well describe himself as a "classical liberal" but a quick look at what he espouses certainly aligns with most right-wing views.

A thousand percent psyop on both sides.

Hire a mob.

Crowds on demand dot com.

Make sure to grab a pastry and coffee on your way back to the Tube station... 🤣

The claim that Peterson’s views “certainly align with most right-wing views” is inaccurate because it overstates his alignment with a diverse and often illiberal right-wing spectrum while downplaying his classical liberal roots. His advocacy for free speech, individual agency, and skepticism of both left and right extremes places him closer to classical liberalism than to “most” right-wing ideologies, which include nationalism, social conservatism, or authoritarianism he rejects. Overlaps with right-wing views (e.g., anti-DEI, traditionalism) exist but are selective,

It's quite clear middle ground is needed. Unite the Kingdom are far right. The organizer they turned up for is far right.

The pro migration group are far left.

What is needed is a stance against illegal immigration. Against the cost to UK to house asylum seekers.

The government need to educate people about the differences between legal and illegal immigration.

Legal migration costs the tax payer nothing. In fact, it is a cash cow for the government. A visa is north of £1000 for 2.5 years. The IHS supplement, going to NHS, is now north of £1000 a year. ILR is over £3000. Not fogetting the £150 for a 5 minute English test for every application and the £50 a go for Life in UK test that most UK citizens would struggle to pass. Those on visas cannot claim benefits. They don't get housed.

To ban legal immigration would do far more harm than good to UK.

It's a shame, having heard some comment from those on the marches, many many people don't understand this.

Especially if the person that makes that determination is an extreme far leftist!

Why does it always seem to be overweight, frumpy looking , 4 out of 10 woman, wearing men's clothes that always seem to be carrying the "Immigrants welcome here" sign
