You need to take your survey to Australia or UK, there are a lot of miserable people there. Most of us living in Thailand are living the dream 👍

Been alive is much better than been dead , no worries ,happy as Larry,

81 this year ,only two places I wanted to go to Madagascar ,Easter Island,

but maybe best to have unfulfilled things left in your life ,as if you achieve

all your goals ,nothing to live for...so it's a big 10 + for me.will I get to see those

last two places ,maybe not ,but I live in hope...

I'd open my own pron company and fap behind producers chair because I sure af wouldn't be able to contribute any other way

That was my plan when I win! Set up a production company in Prague or Hungary, but with test drive privileges. And I'm 54 and fit!

The problem for thus of us at 50 would probably be you'd have a Charlie Sheen trajectory. The body is not designed for non-stop pleasure, and if you pursue it at all costs, like Sheen did, you'll ruin your body and your relationships.

Fo sho.

If I had 502 million USD the interest would be through the roof.

The pregnancy was an accident, we both agreed to terminate the pregnancy, she was too young and I did not want any more children.

My girlfriend spoke on the phone to her parents, telling them she was pregnant and we would be aborting, her parents said it would be a sin to abort, so now she is keeping the child

I got angry with her, I told her to go.

My bad, I'm regretting it now, she is beautiful.

We still talk, I fly to Roi Et monthly to see her, hospital visits together etc.

My freelance friend, Blah, has gone back to Isaan for a few days, she's going to see her child, she is cashed up 💲💲💲💲

This is a 10 life to you? Are you even taking care of any of your children?

Spent my 70th birthday in an ICU, my Thai wife of 10 years saved my life, every day now is a bonus.

Have 8 dogs, (4 GSD's, 4 Thai) some Thai dogs blind, crippled and brain damaged owing to road accidents seeing their eyes look at me in the morning and during the day makes me feel good.

Wifes family who have rallied around me disproving the thought that Thai families only take, never give.

My wife who is my best friend.

I need to say 9/10, if I were pain-free would be 10/10

Anyway, you asked about depression up north, and yes, depression is a problem in the winter, but for most people who are active and manage to keep an positive mindset do okay. After all we are the masters of our own mind to a certain degree. Another important factor is to keep your vitamin D levels above 75 nmol/L and for some that can be really hard without decent diet and also supplements. I used to take 5000iu every day during the winter while living up there after a year, since my levels dropped below 50nmol/l and I did struggle a bit for awhile, but figured it out, and hard work do help to keep your mind healthy and sane.

Is light therapy a big thing there in the winter?

Everyone needs to see this once and awhile, great reminder, but some will judge it as a leftist rubbish, but that’s the world we live in.

I truly believe moderate lefts are more happy than the right. It feels good to share, and be a good responsible less judging citizen and neighbor

Not a big thing, but people who struggle tries it, and there is a lot of crap lights to be bought, and if depression I think you can borrow or get somehow. Depression is not only about light, most are depressed because they are vulnerable  for depression, or unfortunate life happenings, be it temporary or long lasting illness, chronic pain etc and especially arthritis is though for most during the winters even the winters up north is more dry an cold.

There is only few months sun disappearing, but still light in the horizon and with moon, stars and snow it makes a wonderful landscape if you go out, and make sure your mind is tuned in to the beauty instead of reminding yourself the negative sides of it.

Im from more south of Norway, but to me the northern attitude teached me to appreciate life more right there right now, than any other place I had lived. It is a bit like Isaan, who also enjoy life when food is on table and they do not need to think about tomorrow, but still work hard, appreciate what they got. Not everyone do, but my general experience is like that.

I'm 70 and happy enough with my 13yo son.

Had another 4 back in the UK.

My last bucket list item was owning an EV, accomplished 2 months back.

At 73, I don't have much of a bucket list.  I've done most everything I wanted to do, traveled extensively, and I don't have a lot of wants.  Maybe another bass guitar tho' and a 100+ watt amplifier.  Never can have enough.  I can always entertain buying a new bass, larger amp, and more music equipment.  🎸
