Humanity’s 5 Worst Creations in My Time

Featured Replies

1. Social Media

A horrific attention-extraction machine leading to a humongous black hole of narcissism and needless drivel. Engineered to exploit psychology, sow division, spread disinformation, and keep billions doom scrolling their lives away.

2. Fentanyl

A synthetic opioid so potent it is now both a medical tool and a weapon of mass addiction. Pushed, abused, dangerously mixed with other drugs and now leaving trails of overdose deaths everywhere it touches.

3. Nicotine Vaporizers

Marketed as a safe alternative to smoking, but designed with candy flavors, oils that destroy the lungs in a very short time and slick branding to hook a new generation on nicotine. A recycled dangerous and useless addiction dressed up as cool innovation.

4. Nuclear Weapons

The ultimate monument to human self-destruction. A single device with the power to erase entire countries and continents.

5. Human Air Pollution

The invisible addiction: cars, coal, oil, and industry pumping billions of tons of micro toxins into the atmosphere daily. We breathe it in, the planet burns, and the machine keeps running.

Human air pollution in your time ? Did you also park your dinosaur out back this morning as well.

Fewer people will own cars when self-driving cars come out = less air pollution.

Musk said his business model will be 300$ per month unlimited use of a Tesla robotaxi. So cheaper than owning your own car. No need for maintenance, insurance ....

Smartphones that can be put on loudspeaker

American and Australian larger

Vaccines....OMG how many people have they killed? 🤭

Bumgunless toilets.

Bitcoin. An entity one cannot see, hear or touch. Just another religion, where the leaders reap the rewards, and followers get screwed.

Carbon Capture and Storage ( CCS ). Thermodynamic nonsense, which has sucked in billions of dollars.

Social media, where the noise of thousands of ignorant people drowns out science, facts, and logic.

Fast food restaurants, creating legions of obese people.

Call centres which take ages to answer,  followed up by service personnel who think they are speaking English.

So true regarding bumgunless toilets. The bum is a slum without the gun!

- Whistles. Take the whistle away from security guards and parking attendants!

- Toilet attendants who give you a shoulder massage while you (try to) take a pi**.

- Thai time, 'nuff said.

Take away their whistles......now that is cruel beyond measure.

No.

We just need to educate the uneducated women.

Teach them to stay away from men.

Cold calling sales.

Supermarket self-checkouts (unexpected item in the bagging area FFS)

QR code menus in restaurants, replacing waitresses (ok for online delivery orders, but not when seated in a restaurant).

The wrappers on Chupa Chups (almost impossible to open).

Baked bean flavour ice cream.
