He is a jailed felon. Why is his daughter making such announcements?

Surely any such announcement should be made by corrections staff and since it involves a jailed convicted person why is it a public announcement?

He does not shovel, just supervises

What a fall from grace! LOL! I find this hilarious! Politics are often a "pile of crap" so I guess this is a perfect position for him!🤣🤣

This is often referred to as "doing soft time"

That's a lot of $#*# to clean up, he's had a long time making it.

Certainly not, but that's not the reason he did this. It was for him to spend time outside the slammer nothing else!

Did that really require an explanation point?

Prison jobs are generally not optional.

I really have no explicit sympathy for him, his war on drugs killed numbers of innocents at the time estimated to be 5,000, not to mention the disappeared Muslims rounded up in the southern provinces never to be seen again.

Still, he's no Pol Pot, not that that means anything, nor is he Joe Ferrari, he's a former Thai Prime Minister, the only PM "democraticly" elected twice by national election, deposed by an illegal coup d'ėtat which has forever kneecaped Thai politics, and he is 76 years old, not in good health, though he's by no means dying.

He's living in the pokey, certainly not in the "Bangkok Hilton" lowest conditions, but by no means posh like the penthouse suite he had at Police Hospital before, thus his current confinement.

Clearly conditions for all those confined in Thailand, including those protractedly awaiting trial and judgement should be improved.

Societal vengeance that his punishment should be more severe serves no constructive purpose other than the bases expression of human cruelty and his death in prison would be bad on many levels.

So, he's got a job that for a time each day gets him out of his cell.

So what?

What's is your point?
