Massive flight risk. All of these anti democracy lawfarers need to be incarcerated to stop them fleeing. Treason carries serious punishments, which is fantastic.

Irrelevant. Like the clowns did with Trump, the process IS the punishment. Forcing Comey to pay a 100 million $ bond, perp walks, mug shots, cuffed and paraded, investigations extended to all family & friends, his wife lingerie drawer rifled, mocked on tv for years. The trial outcome by a Biden judge is of secondary importance. Comey and his family will be RUINED by the process, and conservatives will smugly say stuff like - if you cant do the time, dont do the crime, or everyones equal under justice. (Ring any bells??🤣)

What a magnificent time to be alive!

What a magnificent time to be MAGA! The 6 ways to Sunday cabal infamous for weaponizing Government agencies in a attempt to get Trump & others, are getting the Shoe on the other foot treatment.

Transferring it to small town Montana, where the jury will be 99.999% ultra MAGA? Like the left did with the anti Trump lawfare? Is that what you mean?

Great ideaanyway.

Change of venue is a defense motion.

Watch the whole house of cards come crashing down when Comey starts singing like a canary to try saving his neck.😅

Man i gotta calm down this is too much

One thing FBI directors are famous for is creating large dossiers on people that may become helpful later and ensuring they have a copy in the home safe. Maybe he has the Epstein list?

Graham is setting the stage for all those who took part in Getting Trump.

Hannity,“the tip of the iceberg". Graham ,"Yah, I hope so".

Graham: "Is there any cost in this country for lying to a court to push a warrant that you know is really not accurate"?

AI quickie:

Key reasons for changing the venue

Improper venue: If the case was originally filed in the wrong court or a court that lacks the proper legal authority, it can be transferred to the correct one.

Factors influencing the court's decision
When considering a motion to change venue, a court often weighs several factors to balance fairness with efficiency. These include:

The location of the witnesses and evidence.

The grand jury also rejected the charge about his knowledge of an alleged plan from Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign that could help her campaign and hurt Trump’s, which is currently the major WH conspiracy theory.

How do you know? You have access to secret Grand Jury proceedings?

It's not that simple.

The grand jury also rejected the charge about his knowledge of an alleged plan from Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign that could help her campaign and hurt Trump’s, which is currently the major WH conspiracy theory.

"In this investigation of Comey, prosecutors had wanted to charge Comey with a false statement to Congress related to Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Documents now public in court appear to pinpoint Comey’s answer to the Senate Judiciary Committee when he was asked prior knowledge he may have had on an alleged plan from Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign that could help her campaign and hurt Trump’s.

“That doesn’t ring any bells with me,” Comey testified in 2020 in response to a question from Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham.

That will not be part of the case going forward."

Also confirmed by jerrymahoney's post.

By all accounts, bar one, this is already dead in the water.

It needed an airhead to even consider issuing the indictment.......someone looking for their 15 mins of fame?

He won't spend a minute in jail and may well sue for malicious prosecution.

If there was no point to it, why did you question the reality of it in the first place. That said. It's very rare for a grand jury not to give prosecutors what they ask for. Keep in mind that there's no judge and no opposing lawyer. As for the other 2 charges, only 14 of 23 jurors supported them.

"He was indicted on two other counts — making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding — after 14 of 23 jurors voted in favor of them, the foreperson told the judge."

Do you understand that if the case makes it to a jury trial (dubious) the jurors are going to have to vote unanimously to convict?

You undersatnd what a Grand jury is and does?

I understand that it's rare for a grand jury not to go along with a prosecutor. They already refused to indict on one of 3 charges. That means a majority said no.  I also understand that despite the fact that the prosecutor was advocating for an indictment with no one to oppose her,she only got 14 of 23 jurors to go along on the other 2 charges. Do you understand that in a criminal trial the verdict of the jury has to be unanimous? That doesn't bode well for the prosecution.
