  • Silliness? So, taking steps to protect a country´s sovereignty is silly to you.

  • If the citizens of both countries had more of a say so, without fear, things would go back to where they belong. Bordering countries aren't supposed to be fighting each other, as most look to the othe

  • No. Killing jungle peasants over 25 feet of jungle is silly

I will, but thanks for eventually answering my question, took a while, but you got there in the end, well done.......:clap2:

PS. You should check your post before posting, I had to do a bit of guessing..😟

So you think Cambodia is at fault. Thats fine, nothing to do with my point, which is adequately set forth.

Irrelevant. The situations are totally different. Your bias is showing.

Guess I showed you to be a fool, again.

You didn´t, as you are just avoiding to answer. Only talking around, like the right-wing you are. I am neither, I see the great perspective.

You again. Adding nothing but name calling. Typical of your blinkered ilk.

Where was the name calling, are you avoiding your true self?

I suppose it would be dangerous for Thai CEOs to be seen as being too friendly towards Cambodia at this time.

It certainly did not help Ms Shinawatra careerwise.

Good point but its not a question of friendliness, its jobs for Thais.

This is MAGA for Thais and you have chosen probably because you're potless to live with the enemy.

What ever does that mean. It makes no sense.

Hint : it makes sense for people with an IQ over 2 digits

You come across as a nationalist MAGA fan living in Cambodia fair enough, perhaps on limited means, with Thailand too expensive in your dotage. This border spat has whipped Thai nationalists into a frenzy over what, as you rightly imply, amounts to little more than nothing. Yet they wave the flag and proclaim their superiority over poorer neighbours  a kind of Thai MAGA. And just so you know, “potless” is a British term for being on limited means.

They do not want to upset the Thai military?

Yes, unlikely that big companies like CP, or Betagro would risk a huge backlash in Thai public opinion, meddling with politics (and the military) because of a tiny export market like Cambodia.

Then you would be unable to explain it

Oh, got it, you have reduced the whole thing to a scenario in accord with your Trump obsession

What? You think you are more important than the Bills? That I wait for you to post a blurb of idiocy?

Stupid and narcissistic is a bad combo for children your age.

You mean your utility bills?  Don't think postman works at night in Cambodia.

You just described MAGA, I'm not part of it

... because maybe this conflict is not about 25 feet of jungle! This would be silly indeed.

Instead, it is a conflict about the principle, where the border should be drawn. If the border created in colonial times needs to be corrected on land, it follows, that likely it needs to be corrected elsewhere.

Look into the Gulf of Thailand, and very quickly you see, that there is also an overlapping claims area between Thailand and Cambodia. Funny enough, exactly where there is one of the major oil and gas fields.

Always follow the money!

Apart from the border trade there is the issue of the estimated 400,000 Cambodian workers who used to work in Thailand.

How many actually went home and is their absence having a significant effect on various parts of the Thai economy?

I read awhile back that Thai employers expressed concern about their loss.

Great way to correct a border. Shell it.
