You've spent most of your waking hours, for at least the last 5 years, on AN. Life must be totally off the charts for you. WINNING!

Everybody uses the internet dude.

Correct.

Life continues to get better, and improve.....until it does not.

If you want life to get better, then just negotiate a golden parachute.

I wish someone could explain the desire to be a top poster here.

I'm assuming it would mean one would have to be tied to the computer/phone all day, thus depriving one of that desirable activity of actually having a life.  Furthermore, quantity invariably does not equal quality so it is inevitable that the average quality of the posts that day would be low.  So who benefits?

What am I missing here?  🤔

Of course. Using the Internet productively to learn, communicate meaningfully, create things, or earn a living is very different from using it obsessively to troll, attack others and spread misinformation on a single site for most of the day out of pure boredom, lack of other options, isolation, and loneliness.

Well then take your own advice!

I haven’t given any advice. I only pointed out the difference between someone like you, who wastes most of their life on the Internet in a useless and meaningless way, and the rest of the world, who use it to improve themselves and help others. Judging by your posts, that distinction is clear. But life keeps getting better for you, right?

Rest of the world? So you are speaking for billions of people lol

Your posts are utterly useless nonsense.

So you have not seen much of Thailand. I use the net to research.

You do know you've said this many times before and it means nothing to anyone besides you right? The fact is, no one on earth has seen all of Thailand and I'm thinking most of the residents here have only seen a small percentage of it. There are 2500 municipalities and over 75,000 villages so seeing even the municipalities would take a very long time, if possible at all. You might have seen many of the major cities but there are many small towns you would have to go off the beaten track to see.

Besides this, most of Thailand all looks the same, as far as the villages and most of the cities, besides Bangkok and Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. You could drop someone off blindfolded anywhere here and they wouldn't know where they were until they saw a highway sign or particular beach.

Does your life get better as you age or does it continue to get worse and more depressing?

How would you know? Muslim south is a fair bit different to north and issan. Isaan is mostly flat, north is hilly and south has beaches. Not same at all. Different culture and languages, different food.

Bikers love visiting them. Thailand is world famous for biking.

Even so, how is it even considered a measure of anything useful? Someone who tells me they have seen most of Thailand says a lot about how uninspiring and uninteresting that person's life must be and not anything I would ever admire or aim to emulate.

If you saw a mountain you wouldn't know which one. Yes, much of Thailand is flat and a lot looks much the same. This is what I meant about it all appearing the same, as far as the villages, towns and cities. The beaches look a lot alike, and if you were placed on an island you wouldn't know which one unless you've been there before. A lot of the topography in Thailand looks the same, seeing it's a major farming country, so seeing a lot of it still has most of it looking the same. It has a lot to do with how the culture works.

This is a Thai forum. Why did you join a Thai forum? Your posts are all so negative and you just abuse the OP on every topic. Must be a reason for this.
