Only "Superhumans" in US military

It's a bit sad. In their dreams Hegseth and Trump thought they would seem cool and tough in front of a room of generals. Instead they came across as silly and a stark contrast to others in the room.

  • Odd that the drunkard SecWar installed a make-up room next to his Pentagon office, and the "Commander-in-Chief" as well as his VP wear more make-up than a drag queen on a Mardi Gras parade float.

  • Are your fetishes appropriate for this Board?

  • Exactly. The hypocrisy is, as usual, cranked up all the way to 10.

This is so true and on point. This isn't the US of A anymore, it's full-blown Magastan.

These Admirals and these Generals are highly qualified men, many of whom have been in battle and on the front lines in their career, unlike Trump. They are in a completely different class than Trump and Hesgeth is not really even qualified to shine their shoes. Much less lecture them about anything. He just happens to be there superior because Trump likes to pick sycophantic guys from the bottom of the barrel, and that's the end of the story.

An ex-marine pointed out the staggering stupidity of announcing to the world where and when the entire US armed forces top brass would be......boom!

Especially since all that was being delivered to them was televised, not even classified etc.  What a waste of money and, more importantly what a total lack of respect to their so called "Commander-in-Chief" that ALL levels of the US Military (and any allies that are left) will now have for him and/or his Government.

It would have also made it an easy target to wipe out the entire US military including the Secretary of War and the US President - all in the same place. This was an incredibly stupid thing to do by the Fox and Friends host...

I didn't know that 'lil Pete had written a book, but now I know after he plugged it while embarrassing himself in front of men and women he's supposed to lead.

What a truly embarrassing little boy.

No fatties, no beardo's. Preferably blond hair and blue eyes?

The military probably should not have fatties.   Do you agree?

Also, are you calling fat people the Ubermensch?

""Übermensch" is not an abbreviation!

It is a concept in the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. In his 1883 book,

Really?? I'm an Übermensch? I'm not a Nietzsche fan but I'll take that as a compliment.

Thank you!

PS. He really has NO idea what he's talking about, does he!🤣

You are the Übermensch of the BLM index.

This thread has completely misunderstood the Uebermensch.

The Uebermensch appeared long before Nietzsche, in Herder for example, and long before him. Nietzsche just popularised his version because he is the greatest thinker that ever lived.

Fat DEI troops? You're master race inference is pitiful.

The left out regurgitating the same old tired lies, pitiful.

So strange that an overweight, blubbery Commander-in-Chief can seriously listen to an alcoholic telling generals to get fit. Ulysses S. Grant was a robust general and seemed to be a pretty good military leader.

Yes, Grant, another great Republican president.

In Nietzsche's version of the Uebermensch, it should be emphasized that the individual has centre stage, his Uebermensch is a highly individualist full attainment of humanity, the destroyer of all  current morality.

In no way could the Uebermensch ever be a soldier that serves the masses at large, rather the whole of humanity has to be sacrificed in favour of the superior Uebermensch, the ultimate attainment of humanity.

It goes without saying that the Uebermensch would never serve in an army, let alone obey any politician, just to protect the masses. That would be the most idiotic interpretation of the Uebermensch ever.

Rather the Uebermensch would have his own morality and serve HIS own interests, and follow only his direction, never any General's or Commander's.

Nietzsche's Uebermensch is an indvidualist. He could never be a soldier.

It should also be noted that NOWHERE but absolutely nowhere, did Nietzsche postulate that the Uebermensch is blonde and has blue eyes. Exactly the opposite was the case, Nietzsche ridiculed the "blonde beast" whom he could de facto never see as the Uebermensch, because he had not attained mastery over himself.

The closest suggestion for the Uebermensch Nietzsche made was specificially Cesare Borgia NOT Parzival.

Cesare Borgia is Italian, he had dark eyes, not blue eyes, and his hair chestnut, not blonde.

So we agree it is NOT an abbreviation which was the point I made!

PS; I don't give a toss about the meaning/background that all you AI/Google warriors are pontificating about over what you are now agreeing was not an abbreviation!

Poor programming most likely lol.any way to me watching the flag officers reaction to this totally ridiculous situation was encouraging to me,I could almost feel the angry growls……many of them were raised by parents who had to put down authoritarian regimes (ww2) they are educated…..they are Americans….perhaps the silver lining to this is the full without any reservations knowledge of what magga (project 2025) is about.(ie) hegsteh saying no more rules of engagement, along with trumps enemies within and using American city’s as training grounds…..take heed and VOTE !!!

In an article published on October 1, The Guardian's George Chidi examines some of the negative reactions veterans are having to Hegseth's speech.

Naveed Shah, policy director for the veterans group Commons Defense, told The Guardian, "A lot of the words that are coming to me aren't fit to print. The people in that room who have served for 20, 30-plus years in uniform do not need Pete Hegseth to tell them about warrior ethos…. Certainly, addressing the troops could be useful or beneficial, but to call 800-plus generals and senior enlisted advisers from around the world into this room just before a government shutdown? It's not just bad optics or strategy. A bad cold could have threatened our entire chain of command."

Dana Pittard, an author and retired U.S. Army general interviewed by The Guardian, said of Hegseth's speech, "I thought it was insulting." And Pittard, who is Black, said he deeply resented Hegseth's claim that non-white military leaders were promoted based on a racial quota system.

U.S. Navy veteran Tamara Steven found Hegseth's "lethality" rhetoric deeply troubling.

Stevens told The Guardian, "Basically, he's saying that we're no better than Hamas because people are joining because they want to break things and they want to kill people. I mean, for anyone that's been in the military, he's not qualified to be secretary of defense. He's barely qualified to be a host on Fox News. But so say these things in front of the preeminent generals and admirals leading our military? Has he no honor, to say that we don’t belong in polite society? Maybe he doesn’t."

Colonel Cedric Leighton (Ret.) said Tuesday that President Donald Trump's administration is pushing the U.S. military to assume roles that are not supposed to be its responsibility.

During an appearance on CNN Tuesday afternoon, Leighton — the network's military analyst — said: "For example, using the military in urban settings in the United States, going after certain groups, like potentially Antifa or something like that, that is not the military's role. The law would have to be changed in order to make that legal."

Just as I thought, Maga on AN cannot defend this dumb event so they attack the individuals here who react.

No intention of listening to the entire speech.  All can say is I agree with much of what I am hearing it contains.  There is no room for woke in a military.  If you are trans resign.  Doesn't mean I hate you or anything just that the military isn't the right career for you.

If you wish to perform in the front line type units pass the physical standards.  No different standards for different people.  One set that is determined minimum that every soldier in  a combat unit must meet.  I have no problem with women in combat roles.  But it they want to be front line same physical standards.  I have no problem with women flying combat missions.  So long as the meet the same standards.  This is because I am not a misogynist.  I treat them all equally.  If a man can't meet the standards no thanks.  Equal wash out.

I would also endorse rational physical standards for some people that aren't as rigorous.  If a person has years of training and skills that will NEVER be outside the USA in harms way lower the standards to retain their skills.

I have a niece who is a Major in the Army as is her husband.  They both approve of most of this.  I hope her husband can stay in the Army.  He has increasing back issues (probably from tip of the spear type missions in Afghanistan and Iraq) that are making his ability to pass the PT test difficult.  But at this point he has been given advanced training in counter hacking IT skills and is quite valuable sitting a desk.  He is unlikely to get called into combat again.

Simply put I don't want the Army to soften.  War sucks. But it you are in one better to win than lose.

Good thing the Brit’s were a lot smarter than you and the trump gang…Allen Turing comes to mind a brilliant man but he was a homosexual……he’s the man leading the team that broke the German codes during ww2.Another example is the wrens who figured out the U Boats were attacking on the surface from within the convoys and the best tactics to use against them with the limited resources available at the time.every one has contributions we have very capable women in the armed forces to disparage them is a crime in my view.as far as any homosexuals in the military as long as they don’t make the others uncomfortable so what?
