Was your 'degree from Texas A&M' in myopic thinking?

If you mean "focus on the objective and don't get distracted by nonsense", yes.

The diploma said Mechanical Engineering, though.

Well you should be really happy to hear that without universities and the funding they get, engineering wouldn't be the profession it is today (or even in your day).

According to AI - 'Universities have brought numerous innovations to engineering to include ARPANET's foundation for the internet, pioneered at institutions like UCLA , and the development of the first transistorized digital computer and active noise cancellation by Barrie Chaplin at Essex University . Other innovations include the development of the PLATO educational system at the University of Illinois , which introduced key features of modern learning platforms, and advancements in CRISPR-Cas9 DNA editing by scientists at the University of California, Berkeley. Also ncluded is artificial intelligence, AI-powered prosthetics , 3D printing , renewables like kinetic roads , quantum computing processors , and advanced aerospace systems , which are revolutionizing fields from construction to medicine and space travel.'

But yeah, drag queens.

So how many of those useful innovations came out of Women's Studies programs?

We should focus taxpayer money on the programs that benefit... taxpayers.

You point out the silliness of things some universities are doing, and the left tries to argue it’s not really silly, because the university also does things that aren’t silly.

The do not seem to understand that both can be true at the same time.
