Online E -Visa Non O retirement help

Featured Replies

Hi all

i’ m almost ready to apply using new online system.

now my question is

what visa should i click on??

I think i need /want Non immigrant O retirement, but the site is a little confusing for me.

i’m 55 UK, and I own a condo in Pattaya., i also have 800k in Bangkok bank,

I don’t have my Yellow condo book yet and this is one of the reasons, i need to get the correct visa for the Yellow book application, i was told i need “Long term Visa over 6 months” to make the yellow book application.

I have selected Non-immigrant visa

then its asking me to select many other options.

I think i need 1. Or 2. See pictures

1 Retirement (pensioner aged 50 or above)

2 Long -Stay 50 years or over (O-X), is this O visa and X visa or is it OX same visa ????

please recommend the best Visa for myself to apply for, and it will help my get my Yellow book for my condo purchase i made in April this year, i left early so i didn’t have time to do that before.

If you are looking for the typical non-O based on retirement, the first one is what you want.

"1 Retirement (pensioner aged 50 or above)"

First, no. (That's for the Non O-X visa)
It's the second one, retirement (pensioner age 50 or above................

Somewhat off topic but why do you even want Yellow book and perhaps pink ID card.

Apart from that could you please report back details of your experience in applying for Non O eVisa after it's approved.

Whatever. I was responding to what the man wrote in his original post. He did say the following,  wth a number, 1, right?

I didn't look at the photo. Anyway, that's what he would want, I am guessing. Maybe I'm wrong. Excuse me.

Because single is the only option.  There's no such thing as a multiple entry non-O visa anymore.

You get a single entry non-O visa.  When you arrive in Thailand you get permission to stay for 90 days.  That is the time you use to open your bank account, get your money transferred to Thailand, and then apply for the 1-year extension.

Once you have the 1-year extension, you can apply for and pay for a multiple re-entry permit from immigration.  This will allow you to come and go as you please during your extension period, as long as you are back before it expires to apply for your next extension.

You can apply for the extension within the last 30 days of your 90-day entry from the Non O visa.
Certain offices will allow you to apply 45 days early.

Provided you have a valid Non Imm O visa, yes, for a 5 year renewal.

Every DLT office is different.  But many will let even someone with a tourist visa apply for drivers license.  I believe the DLT in Pattaya only accepts long-term visas.  Also many no longer accept yellow book and require you to have a residence certificate from immigration.

i’m going to make the Residence certificate application 1st, and then see where i end up with the Yellow book application.
