Bangkok Man Arrested for Fatal Stabbing of Friend

Police have arrested a 50-year-old man known as “Pui Huai Khwang” for fatally stabbing his friend in Din Daeng, Bangkok, on 2 October 2025. The suspect was detained under Criminal Court warrant number 5800/2568 on charges of murder. He allegedly attacked the victim following a heated dispute, claiming he had been mocked for being poor.

Police Seize 3 Million Meth Pills Hidden in Pickup & Hut

Police have seized more than three million methamphetamine pills following the arrest of a suspected drug dealer in Suphan Buri province. Officers intercepted the suspect’s vehicle and later discovered further narcotics hidden in a makeshift storage hut. The operation marks one of the largest drug seizures in the area this year.

Charging Battery Blamed for Blaze at Phayao Home

A fire destroyed a wooden stilt house in Chun district, Phayao province, on 3 October after a battery charger left plugged in is believed to have sparked the blaze. The incident, which occurred at Ban Dong Khian, Moo 3, Huai Yang Kham subdistrict, was reported to village headman Laksachai Buddikham, who immediately alerted disaster prevention units. Fire trucks from Huai Yang Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organisation and Huai Khao Kam Municipality rushed to the scene.

Six Thais Caught After Mule Account Scam in Poipet

Authorities in Sa Kaeo province have arrested six Thai nationals who admitted to opening mule bank accounts for a Chinese-run call scam network in Poipet. The group, four men and two women, was intercepted on 2 October when officers from the Aranyaprathet Task Force and Border Patrol Police Company 1202 stopped a white Toyota in Pa Rai subdistrict, Aranyaprathet. None of the six carried ID cards or passports and officers found 20 Thai bank accounts and multiple e-wallets in their possession.

Dog Attacks Elderly Owner Over Food Bowl Dispute

An 83-year-old man was left with injuries after being attacked by his own dog at his home in Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi, on 3 October. The cross-breed male dog, known as “Chao Mo,” bit its owner on the face, arm and hand after reportedly becoming aggressive when its food bowl was given to another dog. Police and public health officials, on 3 October 2025, raided a private residence in Sawang Daen Din District, Sakon Nakhon Province, uncovering an unlicensed dental laboratory run by a 23-year-old woman. The suspect, who runs a TikTok account “Am.Retainer” with nearly 200,000 followers, produced and sold custom dental retainers without proper authorisation. Authorities seized more than 100 items of equipment and materials used in the production process.

An Iranian man who impersonated a police officer and robbed an Indian tourist in Pattaya has been arrested following a detailed investigation by Bang Lamung police, who reviewed footage from more than 70 CCTV cameras. Lion Seized After Escaping and Attacking Child in Kanchanaburi

Authorities have seized a lion owned by a well-known influencer in Kanchanaburi after it escaped from its enclosure and attacked two residents, including an 11-year-old boy. The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) confirmed that the incident occurred on the evening of October 4 in Rang Kham village, Nong Kum subdistrict, Bo Phloi district. The child, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to Surasee Camp Hospital in Lat Ya for treatment, while another local resident also suffered injuries.
