I havent seen anything going on in my area which is Rawai, most of the big developments are Russians but they could be Jewish, who knows these days

What's it like to live in Rawai btw, I hear it's a bit quiet. Is that true?

  • Australians seem to be a bigger problem of thailand. Theres no israeli posters here posting anti west propaganda like most people here

  • I consider this entire topic yet another malicious transparent effort to insult all Jewish Israeli nationals.

  • This is really bad news. The abuses by the Israelis will mean expats will soon be unable to use such "borderline" methods like Thai nominees and agents for retirement, as the Thais will crack down on

Nice until you want to go out of Rawai.

Then you are facing severe traffic congestion to get anywhere.

Oh interesting. Are there any advantages to being in Rawai?

I'm asking because I may have to go there soon to spend some time, as this 24 year old wants me to come. It's her condition before coming to CM, I first have to go to Rawai.

End of the line in the sense of ascent or descent?

Is Rawai not a nice place then, I thought it's Phuket, so rather pleasant. Am I wrong?

Im joking, Rawai is a good place to live, we get the tourist but then they go, lots of expats live here, we have a good selection of places to eat, It's easy to get around also the best place to get a longtail boat to some of the other islands which you can see from Rawai beachfront

and these were also deported

https://www.nationthailand.com/news/general/40046442

the four foreigners engaged in various misconducts, including verbally abusing medical staff, scolding and pointing fingers at doctors, making threats, damaging hospital property, smoking within hospital premises, charging their phones inside the facility, refusing to pay for services, stealing, banging on the emergency room doors, and frequently getting into road accidents due to reckless driving without a license.

All four admitted to their offences and were charged with causing public disturbance by bullying, intimidating, harassing, or humiliating others. They were each fined 3,000 baht at Pai Police Station, and their visas were revoked.

That was not a crackdown. On any given day, multiple people are removed from Thailand because of visa violations. The 4 thugs who caused a nuisance were rightfully removed. A group of musicians who were working without visas were  stopped too. Big deal.

A crackdown is what one sees in India or Pakistan where hundreds of unauthorized  migrants are picked up and  deported within the day. It is what the USA is doing now. What was seen in Thailand is the usual day to day activity.

A wonderful Russian enclave. GRU agents can meet up to discuss sabotaging western countries over vodka and borscht.

Shops in Cyrillic, and no doubt we'll see the same in Pai, except in Hebrew of course.

and what is the problem with that ?    This is a Thai language speaking country , but,  Due to tourists not generally being able to speak Thai, they have signs in languages that they will be able to read,  They do it in English mainly, for the obvious reasons,  but there is no reason why they should not use any other language its entirely up to the shop owner and nothing fo you to get upset about,

Why not try learning hebrew if you are that bothered it might also help you overcome your hatred
