  • Australians seem to be a bigger problem of thailand. Theres no israeli posters here posting anti west propaganda like most people here

  • I consider this entire topic yet another malicious transparent effort to insult all Jewish Israeli nationals.

  • This is really bad news. The abuses by the Israelis will mean expats will soon be unable to use such "borderline" methods like Thai nominees and agents for retirement, as the Thais will crack down on

That's pretty funny.

How problematic and disrespectful can a haircut possibly get?

Wish I was there to see that.

Yeah, they are terrible. It wasn’t just a one of incident by the look of the sign.

It's a valid topic that is discussed in Thai media and therefore as part of the Thai social commentary, and it is open for civil discussion on this forum.

They have somehow convinced the majority of the USA that speaking about their bad deeds and law breaking is somehow a taboo subject.

Muslims and Chinese get the opposite treatment for some reason.

You can't actually credibly document that sleazy assertion, can you?

The way they are making enemies everywhere I don’t think they will be around for too much longer.

Sounds like your pipe dream.

Better still video evidence of them bragging about it on a hot microphone

Was playing you like a fiddle BEFORE Trump was elected.

Now it is even easier.

You should not complain so much. Don't you all know that Jews are Gods chosen people? The new master race....

Garbage Jew hating trope.

Again this is obviously the purpose of this topic. Another trash the Jews party.

Here is an English sign for you from the news 5 days ago.

The Thais have had enough of them.

You didn’t take the time to watch the video before answering.

How is the Pattaya sand today?

Since your head is buried in it.

I am very concerned about pockets of Thailand becoming Israeli Ghettos. If they are so omnipresent in Ko Phangan and Ko Samui, where will it end? Is Chiang Mai safe? We already have a Chabad centre that's costing the local police force extra protection time. Thais have to pay the taxes to service the extra protection for this Chabad centre.

What can be done?

Sorry not interested in your continual bait posts, every one here knows what the scams are, as they have been well documented on this forum and other news sources.

Don't come trolling here that you haven't heard about the Waterfront condo, and most likely have added to the threads as well

Bye

There was an Israeli place up in Pai earlier this year that had a sign up benning Thais.

So, an Israeli place in Pai that banned Thais ?

Or was it  Thai place in Israel that banned pies ?

What can be done?

Well you could go to a country that bans all Israelis for political reasons such as Malaysia or Indonesia.

Thailand is never going to do that.

As far as extra security for Chabad centers, can you provide actual evidence of such extra costs, if any?

I do know that Jewish spaces globally have security concerns and the actual security protection mechanics (whether from the Jewish community, state, or a mix) are specific to specific situations.

I think you're going way off topic.

Netanyahu and US policies toward Isreal have nothing to do with the situation in Thailand.

The signage is caused by issues taking place in Thailand, isn't it?

Or are you suggesting the Thais are against Israel's policies and using that as an excuse to ban Israelis in their restaurants?

Before the Pandemic, there were quite a few guesthouses with signs saying 'No Israelis.'   There 'was' one hotel in Chiang Mai, a block off Loi Khraw, that catered TO them, and some of the stories the staff would tell of various complaints and problems caused were nothing short of hilarious! That hotel seems to have closed.

I remember that. There also used to be quite a number of businesses around that same area with hebrew-only signage, and they all seem to be gone now. Probably all moved to Pai. There is a new hummus place near Tapae Gate tho.... yum!!

I never experienced any particular issues with Israelis, even in Pai. Perhaps because I am in my 60s and am invisible to everyone under 30. Frankly, I'm happier to see there are far fewer oblivious Chinese tourists meandering around the old town.

But this problem exists in many countries now.

Because they feel more secure together, most immigrants form ghettos.

What should governments do? Put quotas and limit a certain migrant group in an area from exceeding that quota?

Probably the only effective thing would be what they have done in Bali.

They do turn off other tourists.

Indeed , Its the daily anti semitic tread, brought to you by one of the usual suspects.   Imagine if the hate was directed at muslims or blacks or any other minority group here,

A highly inflammatory thread which seems to have been used mainly to display anti jewish memes and sentiment,  should be shut down and the OP issued a  warning publicly........ (again)

Yes, and to be fair other nationalities also congegrate in their "ghettos", Brits, Germans, Indians, etc, however, they tend to contribute to the local eonomy, they don't set up Synagogues that then cost the Thai tax payer extra money to service extra protection.

Quotas would be a start probably. It may come.

The Bangkok Post, Channel 3, Kaosod etc etc.

Why some people have been brainwashed into believing the Israel behavior shouldn’t be called out for what it is is puzzling.
