Hands down the absolute worst tourists I have encountered in Asia. 

 

Dirty, conniving, deceitful, liars - I personally encountered all these traits young Israelis apparently hold in high esteem while traveling in SEA. 

 

Bumming a cigarette from a guy although I saw him pull a pack out half hour before 

 

Friend asks for pen in line at border. Ah naw...never carry one. Always someone stupid enough to borrow from. Later he saw me with a pen 😂

 

Koh Phangan bungalow 1996: stayed weeks, bungalow, food. They did a runner. Cops got them and then they lied with some big complicated story.

 

 

Just one favorite 

 

One Jewish woman wanted my window seat on mini van so she told me she was sick from drinking all night and would puke on me. When I wouldn't relent they all started signing some BS communist kibbutz songs very loud in the minivan. 

 

Another shared van. They could smoke their cancer sticks in the van but they tried. So, every 30 mins they'd take turns tell driver they need to pee. Then they'd all pile out and smoke. I told the Lao driver in Thai to tell them to hold it and just drive on. They'd added like 90 minutes to a 5 hour trip. 

 

I've got about a dozen from Northern India.

Not really sure why ,we just saw the people being made to leave.

How did you know they were Jews? Were there speaking Hebrew or did they have tattoos on their wrists?

Pretty obvious and yes speaking Hebrew. Most are Sephardic Jews with some whites mixed in

 

I had one Jewish aquaintence explain to me after military service the smart ones go to US and often have family and often emmigrate. Next are EU or maybe down under to start a life hopefully. All the Sephardic Jewish kids just hit the trail to travel and party. They have nothing. They are not especially bright, no jobs in Israel that can't wait. Guareteed health care and welfare in Israel courtesy USA taxpayers
