Why are they described as Israeli soldiers? Were they in uniform? Were they in Thailand in a military capacity? if so, they would have  had to hold specific visas. They were visiting on  a tourist visa, so not soldiers, but tourists.

No the figures quoted are only the bodies retrieved and identified.

Now the fighting has stopped it will give them time to dig up other children from under the rubble so the figure will rise quite significantly
