Likely not, but are you against tax deductions? In any event, all these greedy rich people and corporations don't pay any tazed anyways do they? What would they do with a tax deduction?

No, I am not saying that. Are you saying you do not know how the US government works?

All i learned in the last few weeks is that yes indeed the US government does not work.

Nope, never had the patience. Dont like kids and I firmly believe a foetus is not a person until it graduates from medical school.

Have you seen the construction on the $850 million dollar Obama library the poor residents of Chicago are paying for?

A library is for everyone and open for everyone to enjoy.

See the difference? Every president leave something behind for the people.

You would agree to a McDonald's, or should I say a, McTrump outlet if your hero wanted one.🤒

I agree, but it's not a real library, it's a museum that the local's might not be able to afford to buy a ticket to enter. Plus Trumps ballroom is being paid for by donations, where the Obama library/museum is mostly taxpayer funds.

I'm not excusing Trump's behavior, just pointing out the hypocrisy of the left.

It's a presidential library, not a public library, but yes, it will be open to the public.

Of course, The White House is open to the public for free tours as well, and the ballroom will almost certainly be part of the tour.

It's not the role of the Federal Government to fund private non-profit organizations and local libraries and museums and whatnot. I support defunding most all "non-profits". Too much room for corruption. Organizations donate to politicians, politicians fund organizations. Let the people that want it, fund it.

Of course, as usual, it's not true! 🤣🤣🤣

It's paid by private donations to the Obama foundation!

Lol! You did not even read the article you linked.

Quote from your link:

"While the privately funded project’s price tag has ballooned from its original $500 million budget, residents said they’ve also seen rents and property taxes skyrocket as construction nears competition."

Oh, I thought the president memorial thing was a gift to the people, sorry for my ignorance, but if true, I completely agree with you. Im aware of the hypocrisy from both sides, and try not to defend the left’s failures. Im trying to balance tings out where one do not see their own hypocrisy and continuously blaiming the other parts.

It’s like all my problems is everyone’s fault, and it never helped one person in life to do so. Same goes for politicians and politics

The only problem with that, then you will have privileges for only the privileged, and not common people who miss out on art and education. For many people to come to a library to read, study, use their facilities such as computer and software and printers have contributed greatly to many families who could not afford themselves.

as a society it is a small price to pay

Of course, the reporting has all made it clear that the ballroom is also to be a dining room and a venue for awards ceremonies and to entertain heads of states and whatnot. Current facilities only have room for ~80 people dining and then tents have to be set up outside. DC is very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. Once complete, any more people will be able to attend the different functions than are able to currently.

And it is being privately funded through donations. The only reason for anyone to be against it, is because they hate Trump.

Incidentally, Bill Clinton was a big McDonald's fan too, and often had it delivered to the White House for himself and his staff. When he did it, he was praised for being a man of the people and whatnot. When Trump does the exact same thing, he is ridiculed. Why do you suppose that is?

Absolutely false. In the US, most cities have a public library, and virtually every county has a public library, and there are countless school and private libraries. There are over 17,000 public libraries in the US, or one for every six square miles of populated area.

This is not funding that is going to keep the lights on at the libraries in poor neighborhoods. It's money that is going to fat, non=profits that have agendas.

They're paying for it by higher rents and taxes, sorry I wasn't more clear.  Also from that same article.

A two-bedroom apartment that used to rent for $800 a month has already jumped to $1,800. Property taxes are going up so much that the owner of my building is saying she might just walk away.

“We’re going to see rents go high and we’re going to see families displaced,” said Chicago Alderwoman Jeanette Taylor, who represents much of the working-class neighborhood surrounding the site.

You were not only " not clear"! 🙂

(I'm not accusing you of lying, you probably got it from SM)

Now you are grasping at straws...

Unfortunately, every time a new attraction adds value to a neighborhood, prices and taxes go up!

I'm no fan of the neo-democrats in the US political system at all, but I think trump has acted hastily in knocking down part of the White House (which must be a protected building under law) to make way for a blingy ballroom that will probably be named after him.

It should have gone to a committee and been an extention to the White House in an area that required no destruction of a historical part of the building. Okay, up to you US folks to cast judgement on it as it's yours, but to me the optics are just bad.

The international members don't get it  ! My countries lefty loons hate and are deranged about   anything & everything  Trump ,its been going on for a decade ever since he started exposing the Washington Establishment. Heres some pictures of past Presidents WH projects. Many POTUS needed approval for funding. This one is private funding.

The Democrats just cannot keep their feet out of their mouths and President Trump, the master of the troll, just keeps making fools out of them.

"The same people who tear down Statues" are complaining about the WH construction.

Noltie said this was a chance for the left to be gracious lol.  To be honest I never watched Nolte until now , If he thinks that  shaming the left is gonna work ,he's got another thing coming.

I'm sorry, is Don Jr. part of the administration? Let me know when the company wins a no-bid contract like Obama Administration was so famous for handing out.

You know Biden's Secretary of Defense was on Raytheon's board, and made millions with them, He was also on a number of other boards and partners in an "investment" firm with Biden's Secretary of State, but that's all good.

All the sudden, the left is concerned about the president's son's business dealings...wink wink nudge nudge,

Don Jr. Is just the President's son! 🤣

Tss tss! You forgot to mention that loyd Austin joined Raytheon Technologies’ board of directors in 2016, after retiring from the military. He served on the board until January 2021, when he was nominated and confirmed as Secretary of Defense under President Joe Biden. 🙂

There was no conflict of interest between Loyd Austin and the Trump 1.0 administration! 🤣

I did not say there was a conflict.

How is Don Jr. being affiliated with public company that may trade with the US a conflict of interest?

All long dead and or voted out of office.

How about Democrat candidate for the US Senate in Maine? An admitted communist with big Nazi tattoo that made anti-sematic anti police comments and not a peep from the left.

Or the Democrat candidate for AG in Virginia? Calling for the death of his opponent and his children, has not lost an endorsement.

Or the Democrat candidate for mayor of NY, a communist antisemite that hates the police, and the Minority Leader just endorsed him.

All from rich families, all privileged, all leftists, all despicable,

All winning.

Stop crying and deal with it.
