Russian drones hunt civilians in crime against humanity,

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine has accused Russia of using drones to target civilians near Ukraine's frontline, labeling it a crime against humanity. The report reveals drones chased civilians long distances, attacking them as they sought shelter, based on interviews and verified videos. Incidents occurred over a year in three southern Ukrainian regions near the frontline and across the Dnipro river.

The report, to be presented to the UN General Assembly, states the attacks aim to forcibly transfer populations. One highlighted case involves a woman in Kherson attacked at her home by drones, forcing her to flee. While Russia denies deliberate attacks on civilians, it has continued striking civilian areas, as reported by various sources.

In Pokrovsk, Ukraine is reinforcing positions amidst Russian troop infiltration, facing ongoing conflict for control. The Russian defense ministry claims advances, but independent sources suggest these claims are exaggerated. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy acknowledged fierce fighting and logistical challenges, emphasizing the need to counter the occupation.

Lukoil announced plans to sell overseas assets due to US sanctions, impacting Russia's oil output significantly. Sanctions against Lukoil and Rosneft require companies to sever ties or face secondary sanctions. The US aims to cut access to its financial systems for entities engaging with the sanctioned Russian companies.

Norway is monitoring potential radiation after Russia's test of a nuclear-powered cruise missile, the Burevestnik. The missile's design could release hazardous radiation, though no spikes have been detected yet. US President Donald Trump called the missile test "not appropriate."

Key Takeaways

  • The UN reports Russian drones targeting civilians in Ukraine.
  • Ukraine strengthens Pokrovsk defenses amid Russian infiltration.
  • Lukoil to sell assets due to US sanctions affecting Russia's oil output.

I can see this. A  pair of drones breaking down the front door and chasing the woman through the kitchen and the living room out the back. Still no way Russians would blow a $3000 drone on a devochka. I would say autonomous AI corrupted by human traits like thuggery or even horniness.

How is this any different than the USA (my home country) hunting down people in boats in the Caribbean or Atlantic Oceans, and killing them? 😡

It's a terror tactic, making Putin a terrorist. Any military that deliberately goes after civilians needs to be tried for crimes against humanity.

OT do Russian civilians say "thank you for your service" to soldiers they pass in the street?

This is what the DeepState (Ukrainian) map shows for Pokrovsk and Myronrad so the situation is worse than what's shown on the map. The grey zone is more than likely red meaning Russian controlled. I would like to know who the "independent sources" are. This pocket  is going to close. Question is can Ukraine get it's soldiers out.

By "Any", do you include the IOF?

How long before Trump uses similar tactics in the USA?
