He was stopping trade with everyone via his tariff agenda. Go back and check your history on that.

Yes, I did read it, and some of it said, 

"Remember, both countries signed a ceasefire back in July.

That, too, was helped - or at least accelerated - by pressure from Trump.",  "This is progress - and Thai diplomats have told me they do feel Trump's involvement may help these agreements stick.",  "It says it appreciates Trump's support, and describes the US and Malaysia as only "facilitating" this agreement"..   I did say him getting involved pushed them towards a cease fire. Of course a cease fire was talked about, but not initiated until Malaysia. .Trump helped things along, which is what I've been saying. Getting involved was the US's decision, of course with Trump the speaker. His negotiations brought the tariffs down.

Yes they had already signed an ceasefire agreement in July and trump made a call to both countries and inserted the trade  tariff issue which was already a mess from his earlier tariff position. He took the approach that their fighting could affect the trade negotiation. The latest deal was also negotiated and trump was not part of that negotiation but again inserted himself to "preside over " the signing of the agreement. He then went on to claim his victory over ending 8 wars (which isnt accurate). Did his claims on tariffs being affect increase the pressure maybe but thats not negotiating a peace deal,

Which is what I said. I know how Trump always likes to make him look like it's always his ideas or power, which is how he works, but  even though I'm not a supporter, what he did was make them think. Money as always overrides everything else.
