That question is easy to answer. Chosen people exist only in the Jewish religion which says, surprise surprise , the Jews are the chosen people.

 

The more important question is, chosen for what?

 

And when I look at the history and what they tell about themselves and how they have been treated through the Millennia only one thing comes to my mind, which they might be chosen for.
