Once past the initial phalanx of police, the mob began smashing windows and using battering rams on lock doors, trying to gain entry into the building to not only halt the election certification, but also to hunt down elected officials the mob perceived as enemies of their cult leader Trump. Some members of the mob defecated on the floor of the Capitol and wiped their feces on the walls of that institution. Others broke into the officers of elected officials and began looting and ransacking.

 

Some police were overrun and stopped trying to halt the onslaught. Others continued to stand against the terrorists and were beaten severely. Some MAGAs are so ignorant that they claim it was “Biden’s FBI” that did it, seemingly forgetting that the “6th” is two weeks before the “20th”, the date Biden took the oath and entered office. All of those excuses are pure MAGA nonsense, accepted by no one with any sort of intellect. Of course, most are offered by the cult as excuses.

 

That day was a black mark against the nation, all who have ever served it, and most certainly against the prime instigator, then-President Trump. It was carried out by, at best, the ignorant and easily fooled of the cult, and at worst, by traitors. Those traitors include Donald J. Trump.

 

As bad as that day was, the disgrace was compounded when Trump not only pardoned the terrorists who injured 140 police and intended to hang the Vice President, he even suggested they be compensated for time spent in jail. Also, all of those FBI agents who investigated the terrorist attack and all of the DoJ officials who prosecuted the terrorists, were fired from their positions at FBI and DoJ.

The standard for insurrection must be pretty low in America. I thought they did everything bigger and better over there. They didn't even have guns, in a country where even the little kids have guns, just armed with flags and silly hats.

According to police testimony, Christopher Alberts was arrested leaving the Capitol grounds on January 6 while trying to flee from officers after they suspected he was carrying a firearm on his hip. Alberts was carrying a loaded pistol and 25 rounds of ammunition, according to court documents.

Guy Reffitt has been charged with illegally bringing a handgun on Capitol grounds on January 6. Reffitt allegedly told family members he “brought his gun with him” in the Capitol attack.
