A Thai cosplay model has reported being sexually harassed and filmed on a Bangkok BTS Skytrain by a man allegedly involved in similar incidents with other women. The victim, known online as Chun Cheon, said the attack occurred on November 2 and has urged other women to come forward to prevent further assaults.

Chun posted about the incident on Facebook, sharing a photo of her police complaint and describing how the man groped her and recorded under her skirt while she was travelling. She wrote, “Today, I was groped on my bottom and secretly filmed under my skirt on the BTS.” The suspect, described as a tall, fair-skinned Thai man wearing a grey suit jacket and black trousers, allegedly followed her throughout the journey.

According to Chun, the man trailed her from Sai Yut Station to Lat Phrao Station, using his jacket to conceal his hand and a tablet device to record her and other female passengers. She attempted to alert nearby passengers, but no one appeared to notice, prompting her to report the incident to BTS staff immediately after leaving the train.

BTS officers assisted Chun in reviewing CCTV footage, where the suspect’s actions were clearly captured. The case was then referred to Phahonyothin Police Station, which has launched an investigation. Police confirmed that they are identifying the man and examining whether he is connected to previous harassment complaints.

Chun stated that BTS staff told her the same man had been reported by multiple passengers in earlier cases but remained unpunished because no formal police complaints were filed. Following Chun’s post, several women commented online that they had also been assaulted by the same man, including one passenger who said she was harassed between Asok and Siam stations.

Authorities are now reviewing additional CCTV footage and encouraging any other victims to provide evidence or statements to support the case.

So the police knows it is happening but refuse to take any action until one of the women file a formal complaint. Makes you wonder why the law acts this way about criminals. It is like they do not care and there are no laws enforced unless you care enough to go to their station and use hours of waiting to make a formal complaint.

A complaint needs to be made .

Both the male and female may have been consenting to the videoing .

Police cannot act until a  complaint is made and the victim willing to give evidence

Seems they need an incident report to further an investigation...

The suspect is not a criminal until adjudicated/convicted for a crime. Proceeding conviction the suspect must be arrested for cause

What is this fetish based on, some kind of voyeurism kink? Apparently in Japan it’s a thing and now laws are being introduced to stop exploitative photo’s or videos being taken without consent. Most of the time when I’ve seen ladies wearing short skirts walking upstairs on the BTS or bar girls accidentally revealing their underwear they’re wearing shorts to protect themselves for such events. It seem’s ironic to me that a Thai man in Thailand can’t find ladies who’d be willing models for him to fulfil his fantasy.
