Yep it is worldwide. Happening for decades. John Howard was PM for 11 years. He was behind in the mid term polls many times. His fav quote "the only poll that matters is election day"

 

85% of US polls are rubbish. That stat alone will help you bet on the next election.

What difference does the polling make?  He is not going to allow mid-term elections let alone 2028 general elections.  He will get us into a war with Venezuela or Nigeria and use the war powers act to cancel elections.  "Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia."
