Three ladyboys apprehended for methamphetamine offences asked to apply lipstick after their arrest, hoping their appearance might win leniency from police. The arrests took place on 7 November in the Ban Noi Tai community, Nong Yat subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Phanom district, following a sting operation that netted five suspects, including an alleged dealer and several drug users.

The operation began after Police Lieutenant Sakda Tonchan responded to a report on 6 November of a man causing problems while under the influence of meth. Officers found 33-year-old Santisuk, also known as Tone, using methamphetamine in his bedroom. He admitted consuming up to three pills daily and revealed he purchased them from 54-year-old Aew, a local dealer.

Police set up an ambush outside Aew’s home on Highway 212. Later, a search of her bag uncovered 15 meth pills and Aew confessed to selling drugs for profit, including delivering 10 pills to a group of ladyboy friends. Officers then followed up at a property in Soi Phithak Phanom Nakhon, where they caught three suspects red-handed: 51-year-old Prasit (Saep), 66-year-old Kittikun (Dulya) and 40-year-old Apisak (Sak), all testing positive for drug use.

The trio told police they worked together making traditional bai sri ceremonial trays, often using meth to maintain energy for large orders. When business slowed, they admitted to using drugs together, leaving the house in disarray. As the officers prepared arrest reports, Dulya requested lipstick, saying: “Since we’re going to jail, we want to look our best. Maybe the handsome officers will take pity on us.”

All five suspects now face charges of possession of Category 1 narcotics. Aew and Saep additionally face drug distribution charges. They have been handed over to investigators for prosecution.

Key Takeaways

• Three ladyboys requested lipstick after being arrested for meth offences.

• The arrests followed a sting operation targeting local drug users and a dealer.

Lipstick will not help in this instance, you can't make a silk purse from a pig's ear. Saying that, after a few bottles of Chang, they are probably "Keepers"

There is only one that looks vaguely like a lady......:coffee1:
