Mind your own business!

You ranted about weekly prostate exams by Dr Oliver (whoever that might be), telling everyone your personal business, including your PSA results.

Here's a clue. If you don't want people to know your personal business, then don't spout it out on a public forum.

How fortuitous.  Pattaya's finest bungle again.

They have yet to learn that yelling 'Stop, Police' sometimes has little effect, and the nimble suspects, who  work at a clinic, knew the pot bellied policemen would not make pursuit!

You asked the most sensible question on this thread so far. Actually ALL dr in thailand (ie dentist and medical dr) must renew their yearly medical license with the local area health office in their city. To open that clinic they would have had to provide university degrees and other official docs. They obviously gave fake docs to their health office from the start. Its a big embarressment for that health office and loss of face to them now. What a joke. The govt health office that allowed a fake clinic in their city. I hope a senior official from Ministry of Health comes down on them hard.

The reality is that anyone can build and manage a medical clinic with little or no medical knowledge . But when it comes to the practicing doctors , they have to show quals to the local authority before they are permitted to work . So the clinic was operating without a license and how long has it been doing so ? Could there be other illegal clinics in the area ? you bet there is . The clinic advertises , testing for venereal diseases , mostly used by foreigners but an unqualified quack messing with your genitals OMG .

haha.  One of the stickers says 'hangover'. This is another red flag. I see they dont have the long license number sticker on the front window thats issued by the health office.

Thailand has many " Clinics " nation wide . I was thinking about , are they all regulated ?  So next time I am tempted to use a Thai clinic I will research its legality/registration and also the attending doctors qualifications / medical education . Also many of theses clinics use nurses which can also be a mine field as regards their genuine profession .

only go to private hospitals.

13 yrs ago I stupidily used a small clinic to suck out the ear wax. The guy (dr?) nearly caused a major issue with my ear. I got up and paid the bill. Got a taxi to bkk hospital pattaya and paid a real dr to do it.

I always remember visiting a 'clinic' some years ago in Pattaya.....the 'doctor' in there was an elderly guy who actually spoke not bad English. It took me but a few minutes to have doubts about his qualifications as he was talking nonsensically. You takes your chances. The 13000 baht hair topic I bought still hasn't produced any new growth and seems to attract wasps!
