I like this philosophical brain nugget

"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

If a man is walking through a forest talking to himself and his wife can't hear him......is he still wrong?

No sound, no colour, no light and dark, no hot or cold........etc......all created by the brain.

Of the those, sight is by far and away the most amazing.

I appreciate all senses, and without taste, we would never had evolved, neither survived. Same can be said about vision, hearing, and our nervous system. The list is long

"The statement is a philosophical observation about the fundamental importance of the senses, including taste, sight, and hearing, for survival and evolution, highlighting the role of the nervous system in interpreting sensory information. Each sense, from touch to taste to vision, is crucial for navigating the environment and ensuring survival, while the nervous system acts as the central interpreter, translating raw stimuli into meaningful signals. The list of vital senses is indeed long, as humans possess more than just the five basic senses, including the sense of pain, temperature, and proprioception (body position)"

It is essential for Survival,

What would we have been without women? It's true, next to all great good men, there is even a greater woman.

"The saying you are referencing is a rephrasing of the common adage, "Behind every great man there is a great woman," which is often used to acknowledge the significant, behind-the-scenes role a woman plays in a man's success. Your version, "next of all great good men, there is even a greater woman," can be seen as an expansion of this idea, suggesting a partner's even more substantial influence or that women are capable of achievements on an even larger scale. "

I am endless amazed by sight.......the fact that "nothing we see is real",  but a motion picture totally created.....all most from scratch.....by the brain.....staggering.

There is no meaning to life , we just have to live it to our best, some of

us to our worst,

Everyday the sun rises ,we just get on with this thing called life, it has it's

ups and downs , good and bad days , you have just got to do your best,

it has no meaning, but maybe a purpose ,only you know that , I am all

up to doing it again tomorrow, have a good one, don't overthink things.

Life have the meaning to you, what you give it for yourself! Nothing more nothing less.

So my statement is, it's your responsibility to give life meaning, exactly how you want it to be.

Existentialism and personal responsibility!

It is Amazing how we can look at the same objects and hear the same things but still see and hear it differently.

Seeing the dress as blue and black suggests your brain likely assumes the lighting is artificial, causing it to discount the reddish, yellow tones and perceive the garment as blue and black. This is a normal process called color constancy, where your brain tries to interpret the "true" color of an object regardless of the light source.

Color constancy in action: Your brain makes an assumption about the light source to make sense of the colors. If it assumes the light is artificial (yellowish), it "subtracts" that yellow tone, leaving you with what appears to be blue and black.

Light perception: People who see the dress as white and gold typically assume the light source is natural daylight, and their brains discount the blueish cast of the shadows.

The actual color: The dress was, in fact, blue and black. Your perception is a result of your brain's interpretation of an overexposed photograph, not an inability to see color correctly.

What I do not understand when it comes to western who are negative to their upbringing and native country, see how easy most of us had it.

I mean the possibilities to become whatever we wanted, and do what 2/3 of the world never had the chance to do.

Yes, I had the opportunity to do anything I liked back in the 1960s, university with a full grant, including living expenses, many jobs to choose from, all with company pensions, but I don't think any current young UK citizens have those same opportunities. Even a house back then was only 2-3 years wage for most people. My first house in Worthing was 27,000 pounds back in 1980, today it's 325,000 pounds.

My kid left UK university 2010 with a 40,000 debt.

Jobs are zero hour, no pension contracts.

Housing is now 10-20 years wages in Brighton.

Your advice is based on living 50 years ago, that world has gone.

Well it is who we are here now, who was born 50 years or more ago. One and another youngster who knows everything is there also, but the majority is above 50 and well above 50, and it is those who complain the most.

So who’s fault is it? Our generation who couldn’t take the right decisions and wote for the right politicians, because we wanted more? Emigrants fouls ?

If I was born in one of those countries down there where there where no hope, count me in, I would be on the first boat out of it, trust me.

The new generations have the same opportunities as us, but different, and that’s why families is important, and being there for the kids, making sure they have what is needed to get them ready for the world. Idealistic said, but they didn’t chose to come to this world, it was the parents.

And I do not mean paving the road for them, but be there, teach them what you can, take them camping, hiking, push them to their limits and make sure they understand when they are tired, there is mor gas on the tank.

Again idealistic said, because I chosed to not have kids out of egoistic reasons,  while you call for more kids, as many as possible, I went the other way. One reason was, I thought the world was to crazy when I was 16, so

I've always thought the world was ruled by some nameless elite, in which case voting means nothing, as it makes no difference what happens.

What happened if we did vote for the smart guys who sincerely worked for our best? But those are to boring, have no appeal, no trustworthiness etc etc, so you are right, its like hitting the bullseye dead drunk in a boat in open sea in a hurricane

They are never offered as candidates on any voting forms. All we see are puppets of the hidden elites.
