American tourist KO’d after one punch in Bangla Road brawl

An American man visiting Phuket was knocked unconscious after being punched by another foreigner on Bangla Road late at night. Video footage shows the man in a white shirt landing the blow on the American (in an orange shirt), who collapsed instantly. Phuket Tourist Police attended the scene; the identity of the attacker remains unknown, and it is unclear if a formal complaint was filed. A similar tourist altercation occurred earlier this year in the same area. The incident spotlights safety concerns in crowded nightlife zones.
