Israeli air strikes in northern and central Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 22 Palestinians, according to Hamas medical and civil defense officials. The strikes targeted five sites, including residential areas, and reportedly killed a senior Hamas commander. They criticized Israel’s tactics as attempts to impose "new facts on the ground."

 

The ongoing conflict follows Israel's offensive initiated after a Hamas-led attack in October 2023, which resulted in significant casualties and hostages. Since then, Israeli actions have led to the deaths of at least 69,500 people in Gaza, with 280 fatalities occurring during the ceasefire period.

There is no ceasefire. It's political theater by Israel and Washington. It's just slowing it down a bit until the whole place is completely uninhabital - not much left to destroy really. Then comes some kind 'peacekeeping' entity while Israel and Trump Co bulldoze the rubble and build Eastern Med resorts and casinos along the strip, with golf courses and artificial lakes behind them - and of course multi-lane freeways to Tel Aviv. A couple of airports.
