Mostly false. Trump was friends with Epstein from the late 80s until 2004. He became a Democrat in 2001 and changed back to Republican in 2009. So, if you believe that political affiliation was a factor in his friendship with Epstein, you might conclude that being a Democrat eventually brought Trump to the light. Not really any more believable then the reverse would be.

Before Kelly was elected Senator, he did the rubber chicken circuit and was the guest speaker at one of my industry events. He was able to get 500+ people out of bed at 7:30 AM to hear him talk about leadership and motivating personnel for 1 hour,  sharing his insight as a combat navy pilot and as an astronaut. He received a standing ovation from a mostly conservative crowd, which included a large number of US military veterans and reservists. The man is the real deal, and doesn't suffer fools or bullies. He commands respect.

 

I have always seen him as a potential Presidential candidate since he ticks all the boxes. The man is sharp, tough, fearless and isn''t easily intimidated. There is no greater pacifist than a combat veteran and he will do his utmost not just to avoid participation in war, but will act to prevent bullies and despots like Putin from initiating them. However, should conflict arise, he will do what has to be done. Even if he isn't a Presidential candidate, he can easily be the VP running mate. JD Vance  doesn't come close.

And despite all the supposed doom and gloom  with the Democrats, there are many qualified potential  presidential candidates; Pritzker, Klobuchar, Whitmer, Beshear, and Buttigieg in addition to to the 7+ progressive type candidates.
