Pattaya Invites Public to Mass “CPR on the Beach” Training

Pattaya residents are invited to take part in a large-scale CPR training event on the beach, aimed at preparing citizens to save lives in emergencies. The National Institute for Emergency Medicine, together with Pattaya City, Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, and Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, will host “CPR ON THE BEACH,” where participants will practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and learn to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs) designed for public use.

 

The event plans to accommodate over 2,000 participants and offers hands-on training in life-saving techniques. Organisers emphasise the practical skills that attendees will gain, empowering them to act confidently in real-life emergencies.

• Location: Laem Bali Hai Pier

The government must be planning to roll out a new vaccination pogrom, err program.  It was good of Pfizer to sponsor this event.

I think BLS training should be launched in schools, offices, & all workplaces.

 

With the correct training, it can take just 60 minutes to teach.

 

Totally agree.  This is a great initiative and I hope it gets extended.

Lost a friend in Phuket last March because nobody where he went down knew CPR.
