A woman was removed from a public bus operating on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok after she took a knife from her bag and moved toward the bus conductor on December 13, 2025. The incident occurred during regular service and caused concern among passengers, though there were no reports of injuries. A passenger recorded the event and shared the footage online, drawing widespread attention.

According to the video, both the driver and conductor remained calm as the situation unfolded on the bus. The conductor is seen asking passengers to record what was happening while maintaining distance from the woman. The bus driver then intervened, detained the woman and escorted her off the bus, bringing the incident to an end without harm.

The footage was first shared on TikTok and showed the woman waving the knife toward the conductor before being removed. The recording passenger noted the composed response of the bus staff during the incident. No official statement has been issued regarding charges or further action against the woman.

Online reactions to the video were mixed following its circulation on social media platforms. Several users expressed appreciation for the bus driver and conductor, praising their composure and actions in a potentially dangerous situation. One commenter wrote, “BMTA should formally recognise the driver and conductor for their actions. They risked their safety.”

Other viewers questioned the lack of intervention from fellow passengers during the incident. One comment stated, “Instead of helping, everyone just stood there.” Another viewer added, “I understand people were afraid of getting hurt, but not a single man stood up to help?”

Authorities have not announced any immediate changes to bus security following the Sukhumvit Road incident. The video continues to circulate online as discussions focus on public safety and passenger responses during emergencies.

It's good to see they set her free. 😂

Now it can walk the streets and attack others.

Why does society allow this behaviour, these type of people should be in an asylum.

Good job by the driver but she's obviously needing treatment.
