Did Obama make America worse on purpose, or was he just low IQ?

I shed crocodile tears over the debt and I don't support such cuts.

Ironic, your stupid picture of that reptile. Soros corporations are some of the biggest beneficiaries of such cuts. Then again,  Open Foundation received so much USAID CIA money they're swimming in it.

It's a pity that President Trump doesn't share your alleged sentiments as well as almost all Republican members of Congress (2 Republican senators and 2 Republican members of the house voted against the tax cuts).

Trump makes Obama look like a genius.

  • No mystery there. Look at his background and the people who raised him. He's an apple that didn't fall far from the tree.

  • I listened to his speech to the British Houses of Parliament in Westminster Hall during his State Visit to the UK in May 2011.   He was witty, generous, and complimentary. He was also obviou

The most significant driver of the debt is the constant increase in spending.   Currently, the expenditure is at 23% of the GDP.    The most significant contributor to the debt is the social program, which keeps growing.   What's pathetic is knowing that the Dems want to extend the temporary ACA subsidies.

https://reason.com/2024/07/13/the-debt-lies-we-tell-ourselves/

The driver of this debt is no mystery. The combination of rising health care costs and 74 million retiring baby boomers is driving annual Social Security and Medicare costs far above their payroll tax and Medicare premium revenues. These annual program shortfalls—which must be funded with general tax revenues and new borrowing—will exceed $650 billion this year on their way to $2.2 trillion annually a decade from now, when including the interest costs of their deficits. Specifically, by 2034 Social Security and Medicare will be collecting $2.6 trillion annually in revenues while costing $4.8 trillion in benefits and associated interest costs

And that's just the beginning. Over 30 years, CBO data show Social Security and Medicare facing an annual shortfall of $124 trillion while the rest of the budget is roughly balanced. By 2054, these two programs will be contributing 11.3 percent of GDP to annual budget deficits, or the current equivalent of $3.2 trillion in annual program shortfalls (including the interest costs of their deficits). As for the rest of the budget, CBO projects that tax revenues will continue to rise, and other program spending to fall, as a share of the economy. This means the entire long-term deficit growth is driven by Social Security, Medicare, and the interest cost of their shortfalls.

What about if the Reagan, Bush, and Trump tax cuts had never happened?

Tax Cuts Are Primarily Responsible for the Increasing Debt Ratio
Without the Bush and Trump tax cuts, debt as a percentage of the economy would be declining permanently.

This is not a valid website.  It's a site run by progressives, which is wrong.   The Reason article cited the CBO reports.

This graph shows the picture we discussed before, but you refuse to learn.

https://www.pgpf.org/our-national-debt/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

The last time the US had a surplus was when spending was below 18.5% of GDP.  Spending today is 23% of the GDP.   The high revenues happened during the dot-com boom.   Then, in 2007, spending ramped up ahead of the housing crash.  Then spending dipped during the 2% sequester.   Spending blew up during COVID, then Biden increased the baseline spending to 23% of the GDP.    Someone needs to wield a chainsaw on the federal government.

Then the huge drivers of the spending are social programs.  For instance, in 2023, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security added $750 billion to the deficit.

Thanks for sharing with us your uncomfirmable claim about what you pay for health insurance.

Got any more such invalid evidence to share?

As for that graph, I can see why you didn't include a link. It comes from the Paragon health institute. A right wing advocate for a free market in health care founded by an ex-member of the first Trump administration. The figures in the graph are derived by them. It's a very dishonest partisan organization. Not surprising that you didn't include links. Here's something about how they operate with links:

If Obama has one lesson for us, it is do not elect a President based on DEI no matter how smooth his public speaking is.

Diversity and inclusion is wrong, in a country where over 30% of the population are not white, and so such people should not be elected. Yet hailing a convicted fraudster, serial  liar, adjudicated rapist, suspected abusive  hebophile, a blatant and boastful philanderer, convicted of feloniously using political campaign funds to pay off prostitutes ( sorry I forgot, that was an accounting error anyone could make), an overt racist and white supremacist, a man who ignores Congress, the rights of States, publicly abuses their politicians and openly disrespects the law, who regularly,  deliberately and openly flouts the very Constitution which he swore to uphold and defend; well that makes him the 'Greatest of All Time"! A President who attempts to rule by decree, is attempting to dismantle access to health care and social support established by Congress,  and use the funds released to build and fund a machine to launch a campaign of terror on the 30% of his people who are not white. An autocratic racist who entertains avowed NAZIs!

A President who has launched multiple attacks on, and is threatening to go to war against an independent sovereign nation.

Do you really expect anyone to take you seriously?  I assume that what passes for your moral compass is digital - were it analogue it would long ago have spun off it's bearings!

Look at the costs.

https://www.marketplace.virginia.gov

I'm in VA, and over 60.   I have a gold plan.

The Gold Plan covers 80% of the cost.  Which means you pay 20% of anything major.

The Silver Plan covers 70% of the cost.  Which means you pay 30% of anything major.

The Bronze Plan covers 60% of the cost.  Which means you pay 40% of anything major.

Then you have various levels of co-pays and deductibles.

The clues to the mystery of "why the hate" are readily apparent in many posts.

The code words that today's racist uses: "low IQ", and "DEI", since they can't use the N word anymore.

Why are you conflating "low IQ" and "DEI" with blacks?

You leftists are all the same, you think blacks are too stupid to compete without lowering standards for them.

The above comment shows that you have a fundamentally flawed understanding about the nature of racial and gender discrimination, and how affirmative action and DEI programs were designed to improve employment opportunities for marginalized groups. These programs were never about "lowering standards." They were an effort to offset systemic and individual personal biases (both conscious and unconscious) which unfairly favored white males. For example, a white male hiring another white male because he went to the same high school as him, knew his father, belonged to the same country club, etc., etc., all factors which had nothing to do with his qualifications for the job, but which gave the white male an unfair advantage at the time of hiring or promotion.

Thanks to Obama and the left, now about 70% of the population is in a marginalized group, Harvard has had to start teaching remedial math, and college graduates are working as baristas, and you have to have a college degree to be fireman.

Meanwhile, K-12 test scores are generally in the toilet.

Sure, the idea of affirmative action and DEI programs is good, but like most every leftist idea, in practice, it does more harm than good.

It's Marxism, but with race and "gender" replacing class. Now, Michelle Obama, worth $100M is oppressed because she black, and Joe Bagadoughnuts driving a forklift in Bakersfield that lives in a single-wide is her oppressor because he's white.

Trump is the traitor and he is the one who needs to go to prison for the rest of his life. The extent to which he has betrayed the American people, and the level of corruption he is currently engaging in will be quite an astonishment to his supporters, once they finally figure it out.

By comparison Obama and Clinton were both brave and patriotic superheroes.

As for Obama -

Recent declassifications under the second Trump administration in 2025, led by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, allege that former President Barack Obama was involved in manufacturing intelligence to undermine Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and presidency, described as a "treasonous conspiracy" in Russiagate. Documents point to Obama's role in directing falsehoods through a 2016 intelligence briefing note, implicating co-conspirators like former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey in creating false reports and misleading FISA applications, including the Steele dossier. These claims suggest a years-long effort to launch a coup against Trump via fabricated evidence of Russian interference. In the Clinton email scandal, FBI documents reveal Obama used a pseudonym to communicate with Hillary Clinton on her private server, which handled classified information, raising questions about his prior awareness and potential cover-up to protect her 2016 candidacy. Allegations extend to Ukraine, where Obama's administration is accused of orchestrating the 2014 Maidan "coup" against pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych, with involvement in intelligence support and pushing for the firing of prosecutor Viktor Shokin amid Burisma ties to Hunter Biden. Co-conspirators include Vice President Joe Biden, State Department officials like Victoria Nuland, and CIA elements, with post-presidency implications in broader influence peddling and deep state activities.
