Bring in meat products to thai via airport

Featured Replies

Hi folks I’m currently in Oman and would like to bring in some dry meat products when returning to thai

After I googled I found below site mentioning u can bring in maximum of 10kg for personal consumption?

Do I need to declare this?
Cause I don’t want them touching my clean fresh food ti be honest

More of a curiosity than an answer...

... What meat dried products from Oman are so amazing they are worth travelling with ?

I've brought dates back from the Middle East, but they were amazing.

If you scroll a bit further down it states you can only bring in 5kg of meat products.

No idea if it needs to be declared thou.

Always bring lamb up from perth never been stopped

It's not mentioned in the FDA rulebook, but I believe there's currently a ban on all fresh, frozen or raw pork products.

Australian and NZ lamb is quite reasonably priced relative to Australia.

Yup, Oman is famous for an abundance of pork meat.
