Any shops sell this stuff at reasonable prices? I've only seen cheap electrolytes.

Why you think you need?

They sell beetroot juice in shops or you buy tins of beetroot with juice in it?

You can buy beetroot Makro, tops, lazada and also powder, I do not use beetroot, just a pinch of salt, a seasonal smoothie, daily regular protein intake throughout the day, banana every day, so I really do not need any pre workout. Im not going to be a world champion, so just maintain daily macros and you will be fine. The feeling of lack of energy, will be ok at once you have daily healthy routines, add prework out, is not necessary. If you drink energy drinks before work out, you will crash after awhile, and energy drinks is the worst you can get addicted to.

If its really hot days, I take a Gatorade mix with soda water, but it doesnt really help or good for you, just some refreshing taste and easy to drink a lot

You can keep the coffin. I'm not ready to die of cardiac arrest in my local gym.

He asked for prework out, and most prework outs do have quite high doses of caffeine in them, personally i drink coffe in the morning only

I will look for beetroot or other juices. Otherwise find a smoothie stand with real ingredients not sugar ones.

How about Creatine supplements? Are they beneficial and effective? What are the risks?

Creatine is found in beef so if you eat beef you don't need them. It boosts strength.

I bought BCAA post workout to bring, and 6kg whey protein from Norway. All these supplements is way to expensive in Thailand in comparison.

Next time I do not think I will bother with anything else than whey protein, you get caught up in to much things that really do not help much when you are not pushing it 100% anymore and do more maintenance exercises.

"Coffe" this time?

Again, I prefer a nice cup of coffee.

Eggs are easy to buy in Thailand or pork and chicken. Protein powders are overrated imo.

I disagree, my maintenance protein needs based on my lean weigh is 140g protein a day, and one egg white gives you around 7g protein, so you need to supply some. My lean body weight is around 85kg.

How much protein do you consume every day, and what is your lean body weight ?

For a general beef steak, 500 grams provide about 136.45 grams of protein

Just eat a large steak which has creatine too.

  • Author

A 500-gram serving of pork roast provides 134.9 grams of protein.

Why do you need powder?

Half a kilo of tuna is 120g protein plus it has creatine in it. Tuna is cheap. Buy it in 7/11 even. Protein powders are very bulky.

Musashi do an intra workout powder with amino acids, electrolytes plus beetroot powder. Its pretty good.

You do not want to eat to much of red meat or tuna, so it comes down to a balanced diet, where you start your morning with a scoop of whey, after exercise a scoop of whey, and before bedtime a scoop of Wey, thats 90g of whey powder a day which contains 70+g of protein. I will go through my diet again, since had quite a high intake of protein until now, and it helped. I gained quite a bit muscle mass while I lost some fat, but honestly, I do not want to be above 90kg anymore. So, I will reduce some mass the next year.

Just decided to start boxing again and get some stamina up, and feel a bit lighter, so 140g protein a day will be good of total 2500 calories. That should give results in 6 months Im looking for.

If you like it keep doing it. I found whey makes my skin oily and pea powder is awful.

Dairy products are known to affect some people's skin. Lots of milk will do it. Nothing to do with quality. Since i stopped milk my skin feels less oily.

Eat eggs, beef, beans, hotdogs or whatever. There’s plenty of good sources of protein to EAT, drinking it is for the lazies.

Preworkout powders are low in protein. They contain vitamins, minerals and ingredients that increase blood flow to the muscles. They give you energy. They also increase erections.

If that fits you, fine

others might have other needs

You don’t need any of it, it’s just sales gimmicks. Food has everything needed.

If you sit on the sofa correct but if you exercise a lot it helps. Of course you could blend up 7 things from the supermarket its similar but a hassle. Some fruit shake stands are good. Others have fake syrup. A 400g workout powder is great to travel with. Gives you energy plus better erections. No downside and its cheap in the west.

Voost energy tablets are pretty good. Dissolve in water. Instant energy.

Food takes time to digest and energy comes later.
