Jomtien Immigration New Year Holiday

Featured Replies

Navigating Chonburi Immigration's excessively colourful website with its flashing and pop-ups, it would seem to say that Immigration is closed on Wed 31 Dec and remains closed until Mon 5 Jan.

Do I have this correct? I was hoping to go down tomorrow and do my 90 days but it looks like 'no dice'.

Ubon immigration is closed on the same dates.....

Yep, in addition to 31st Dec and 1st Jan being public holidays as in previous years, 2nd Jan is a "New Year Special Holiday" according to the calendar on my mobile! What's so "special" about 2nd Jan 2026 does escape me, I have to say..🙄

2nd day open after a long holiday + high season. Will probably be busy all week.
