It's becoming clear that Trumps intelligence is falling short of the mark. A week or so ago he said he didn't need any ships from UK now he seems caught on the hop by the Straights of Hormuz blockage. Everyone else knew but he'd sacked most of his intelligence boffins a few months back. The US has since WW2 engaged in several foreign policy gaffs.... this looks like being the most e.barassing of them all. I think he realises, he's made a mistake but it will be interesting to see how his ego let's him disengage from this mess.
