Officers are trained to deal with situations like this, and making an officer nervous is certainly not cause for the officer to commit cold blooded murder.

And we are told the killer was highly trained and with years of experience.

So pop goes that defense.

She STILL didn't deserve to be murdered! Fox gaslighting.

She was not murdered. My point was to contradict the inaccurate belief that she was a simple bystander caught up in an ICE raid.

And MY point is ICE is completely out of control. There is NO justification for her murder nor the lies from the administration in an attempt to cover it up. Classic deflection.

Not entirely correct:

There are a host of legitimate reasons why an individual might refuse to leave a vehicle when ordered to do so by a law enforcement officer, these include but are not limited to:

  • Fear of one’s own life.

  • The ‘law enforcement officer(s)’ has not provided ID.

  • The law enforcement officer(s) are behaving aggressively.

  • The law enforcement officer(s) are giving conflicting instructions.

  • The law enforcement officer(s) have no jurisdiction over the individual.

Essentially, obeying the ‘orders’ of a ‘law enforcement officer’ is a ‘qualified’ requirement not an ‘absolute’ requirement under law.

True. And none of those were present.

She was obviously not in fear, the officers were in uniform so no ID was necessary, they did have jurisdiction, and the orders were clear, and given 4 times. Which is why I always say that she did not obey a legal order.

Agreed. But.... if the officer was legitimately concerned for his own safety, or that of others, then that mitigates the accusation of "cold blooded murder". Unless you are a mind reader, you cannot make that judgement.

And if he did not follow his training or the standards of his organization, that will be dealt with appropriately.

I've heard she was a poet, an award winning one (the Academy of American Poets Prize (specifically the university/college-level award at Old Dominion University) AND an esteemed and trained member of Ice Watch group (specifically a Minneapolis/Minnesota chapter). Reports from outlets like the New York Post, National Review, The Post Millennial, Fox News, and others describe her as an active participant in ICE Watch, a network of activists who monitor, alert communities to, and interfere with ICE operations (often described as "rapid response" or "legal observers"). Locals and vigil attendees called her a "warrior" who received thorough training on how to respond to ICE agents—knowing rights, whistling alerts, documenting actions, resisting commands, and sometimes more confrontational tactics like blocking vehicles or "de-arresting."

Legally, it does not matter what she intended, she is not on trial. It only matters whether or not it was reasonable for the officer to believe she was endangering his life.

The legal battle will likely center on whether the threat was "over" the moment the car moved past Agent Ross, or if those "extra bullets" and calling her a f8 b#tch after killing her were a reasonable continuation of his initial fear.

Just like Michael Byrd did when he murdered Ashley Babbitt in cold blood. How's your double standard levels today!

Time to take a closer look, think it thru and believe whats right and not what you feel emotionally, that's what your problem is but you already know that.

Even better, a highly trained, skilled and experienced professional. There won't be a prosecution of ICE agent Ross, but if the fraudsters in MN think they can, the case is dead, much like Ms. Good. So, try to understand the attached photo, specifically item 3.

ICE needs to be watched, they are obviously out of control and being in an esteemed member of an ICE watch group is most definitely an honorary position in America right now. Certainly not something that the government likes, and it's certainly something that you can get murdered for, but it's still a very necessary thing for the citizens to do.

ICE has become the enemy by becoming a domestic terrorist organization and allowing their completely bloated budget to go to their heads, without oversight.

When a government agency is defended at the highest levels for committing cold-blooded murder, you know things are out of control.

Don't need one, (defense) has a badge and a requirement to carry out federal law enforcement of the laws enacted by congress. The problem stems from a domestic terrorist weaponizing their vehicle and threatening a federal officer engaged in lawful and prescribed law enforcement. Poor judgement cost a terrorist her life and thats on the dead poet and the democrats who did noting but the fan the flames for the wokesters at ICE Watch. Maybe this is why Gov Walt passed this into law.

Courts have ruled that its reasonable to shoot as often as required to contain the threat and its not required to justify each and every shot fired.

Clearly not paying attention to the evolving situation.

were you there to witness what was going on?

Federal Supremacy clause wins the day ..The state can attempt to go after him on civil matters.

google ai overview:

"Federal officers, including ICE agents, are typically immune from state criminal prosecution when performing their official federal duties due to the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution.

If Minnesota prosecutors were to file charges against a federal agent, the agent could typically have the case removed from state to federal court [1]. This process ensures that questions regarding the scope of federal authority and immunity are adjudicated by federal judges".

All the smack that is being talked about Renee Good would apply equally to the organized "protesters" on Jan 6.

I guess they should have been gunned down as well.

Considering all three shots were fired within about 1 second, and that Agent Ross did not draw his weapon until Good's car started moving, it is going to be a tough case to make. What he said afterwards really doesn't matter.

Show us a criminal matter where any of those instances have passed legal muster. Just one, of the millions of Police/Public encounters every year. Stop reading criminal defense attorney ads. Heres a starting point: look at the case of John Bad Elk vs US from 1900. Trace that one and let us know. Let me know how else I can help you justify your rhetoric.

Says a guy that is seething with hate

ICE has been around for over twenty years, but all the sudden, per the left, they are an enemy of the people and a threat to democracy.

Notice how everything and everyone that goes against the left is a threat to democracy?

Voter ID? Threat to democracy.

Close the border? Threat to democracy.

Deport illegal aliens? Theat to democracy.

Keep men out of girls' showers? Threat to democracy.

Protest an election? Threat to democracy.

Prosecute criminals? Threat to democracy.

Investigate fraud? Threat to democracy.

Meritocracy? Theat to democracy.

Capitalism? Threat to democracy.

The left wants open borders, mass migration, and complete control. If they have to destroy the lives of over 20,000 ICE agents and their families, so be it.

"out of control": Says you, and the democrats, but they mean ICE is out of their control. SO, at the end of the day review the attached photo and basic simple tailored for the basic thinkers message contained within and try to keep with reality and not your own misguided emotional state. You reak of emotional bias so very typical of brainwashed democrats, the pic of a sandwich pretty much lays out the basis for your childish desperation. But your behavior is endemic across the blue libtard spectrum, so you be you and let us laff @ U.

Maybe get your gaslighting meds adjusted. Whats wrong with my eyes, please explain further cuz now all I'm seeing from you is desperate gaslighting from a desperate gaslighter who doesn't know the difference btwn fact and fiction. Maybe try some facts based on the reality and the totality of the situation, YOU'RE NOT FOOLING anyone but yourself.

how do you know, did you ask her? Here's a thought, maybe go ask ICE Watch, MN chapter if the dead poet was trained to ignore law enforcement and become a domestic terrorist and attempt to strike an ICE agent with 4,000 lbs of deadly weapon and then eat hot lead and when you're satisfied and full of knowledge submit your report here and be sure the use "gaslight check", similar to spell check for the final draft.

Imagine yourself in this scenario;

a/ you are parked perpendicular to the road, across the lanes.

b/ a law enforcement officer approaches your car. You roll down the window and converse with him.

c/ you are not scared

d/ the officer gives a legal order for you to get out of the car. You refuse.

e/ see above

f/ see above

g/ You choose to reverse the car, almost knocking down the officer at the window. Then put it in Drive and attempt to escape.

h/ FAFO

Trans, do you really think legal commands from law enforcement are optional? That you can simply choose to ignore them? Or that there will be zero consequences if you choose to ignore them?
