Dear Folks,

I never met Debbie, and I wanna know.

What was it like to get to know Debbie, up close and personal?

She has an amazing face, and amazing eyes.

Did you, or have ever....met her?

I think this might be why we need to build a Time Machine.

I just enjoy her sartorial excellence, and not to mention her posture, too.

Normally, I am not attracted to white girls.

But, Debbie has always had that....something extra.

I wonder too, if she was a bookish sort.

Maybe into cooking, as well, such as baking and lemon meringue pies....

She's got the eyes.

And I recall that film, Eyes of Laura Mars.....

They both have the eyes.

Debbie Harry was so much better than the Mars girl.

I need to know more.

Saw her back in the CBGB's era with the Ramones for $3. A medium talent abetted by her boyfriend.

In my youth I lived in Chelsea just off the Kings Rd. I knew a lot of people in the music scene many of whom were either already pretty famous or later became so.

I threw a big party for my sisters 18th. A friend with a big house let us have it there because my place was a tiny one room studio.

It was heaving.

Debbie Harry turned up. Would have been 1980. She was as gorgeous in the flesh as she was on screen. She had a real charismatic presence on camera.

Everybody was being so cool though starstruck that virtually nobody talked to her.

I just said to her. " Have you got a drink? Booze is downstairs but I think all the food's already run out." She just smiled and said "Thankyou".

I don't think she stayed long.
