What B.S. He wasn't using his studies to back himself up as an authority on the issue. Only to specify where he had heard a speech. You're the one who made it about him.

So, he brings his education up support some phony claim he made about how only a few law enforcement officers had even a high school diploma, but I'm making it personal by calling him on it. Got it.

Hey, why not go back and support some of your phony claims rather than jumping in to rescue your fellow leftist? Oh, that's right, you can't.

Trump has done a wonderful job of convincing his maga morons that what he says over and over that is recorded on HD video and audio that he never said it. He has convinced millions that what they saw on Jan 6 was just another day at the capitol. He has convinced millions to send him $ to buy chinese bibles, superhero mem coins, bitcoin cons, dodgy watches, $499 cell phones that they never receive.

Now he and his minions are at it again convincing the cult that shooting a man 9 or 10 times as he was lying on the ground after being tackled by six or so armed agents having never "brandished" or even touched his legally carried gun, after they had pepper sprayed him tackled him and removed his gun but decided to fill him full of lead.......nothing to see here...if you are totally blinded by the kool aide.

It takes a special kind of stupid to keep falling for the con/grift over and over and over.

Trust your own eyes and your own ears and use your head for something besides a hat rack and put down the cult kool aide.

That why Trump became Republican. He was initially a Dem but he understood there were much more opportunities to con people on the other side! 🤣

Minnesota's open carry laws allows open carry of long rifles. In the incident that lead to Pretti's death, federal agents crossed the road, and one pushed down a woman; she was not an immigrant. She might have been shouting at them from across the road, but that doesn't seem to be stopping them doing their job. Pretti stepped in to intervene. He had a pistol in a holster, under his jacket, ie concealed carry. The Agents only realised he was armed during the subsequent scuffle.

If he had been carrying a long rifle, as the militias in the state often do at rallies and protests, would the agents have crossed the road to push down a woman yelling at them?

The Black Panthers think they have it worked out.

Robert Peel developed the modern concept of a police force/service, and established the Peelian Principles of Policing, among which is the importance of policing by consent. Re-establishing that was vital to ending the troubles in Northern Ireland. The police could not impose themselves on a local population that didn't want them, eg West Belfast, (London)derry.

  1. To prevent crime and disorder, as an alternative to their repression by military force and severity of legal punishment.

  2. To recognise always that the power of the police to fulfil their functions and duties is dependent on public approval of their existence, actions and behaviour, and on their ability to secure and maintain public respect.

  3. To recognise always that to secure and maintain the respect and approval of the public means also the securing of the willing co-operation of the public in the task of securing observance of laws.

  4. To recognise always that the extent to which the co-operation of the public can be secured diminishes proportionately the necessity of the use of physical force and compulsion for achieving police objectives.

  5. To seek and preserve public favour, not by pandering to public opinion, but by constantly demonstrating absolutely impartial service to law, in complete independence of policy, and without regard to the justice or injustice of the substance of individual laws, by ready offering of individual service and friendship to all members of the public without regard to their wealth or social standing, by ready exercise of courtesy and friendly good humour, and by ready offering of individual sacrifice in protecting and preserving life.

  6. To use physical force only when the exercise of persuasion, advice and warning is found to be insufficient to obtain public co-operation to an extent necessary to secure observance of law or to restore order, and to use only the minimum degree of physical force which is necessary on any particular occasion for achieving a police objective.

  7. To maintain at all times a relationship with the public that gives reality to the historic tradition that the police are the public and that the public are the police, the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full-time attention to duties which are incumbent on every citizen in the interests of community welfare and existence.

  8. To recognise always the need for strict adherence to police-executive functions, and to refrain from even seeming to usurp the powers of the judiciary of avenging individuals or the State, and of authoritatively judging guilt and punishing the guilty.

  9. To recognise always that the test of police efficiency is the absence of crime and disorder, and not the visible evidence of police action in dealing with them.

UK Border Force doesn't go to work looking like Cosplay SAS though. No need to hide behind a mask, except when there are sanitary reasons. The entry requirements are a bit higher as well, plus more than 47 days training.

no reason to hide behind a mask??? Have you seen what's been going on? ICE agents being doxed, followed around and harrased for trying to remove people that are illegally in the country and currently they are mostly going hard core criminals.
