WSJ exposes Trump's Bottomless Corruption

So, again Trump has been exposed as TOTALLY corrupt. Have a look at what the WSJ has exposed. Normally, a story like this would have created headlines and dominated the news cycle the world over, but we've all become numb to Trump's crime spree. Any other president, Dem or Rep, would have been impeached already. But, as the GOP are criminally spineless, that won't happen until the Dems are back in power (if that ever happens).

'‘Spy Sheikh’ Bought Secret Stake in Trump Company

"Four days before Donald Trump’s inauguration last year, lieutenants to an Abu Dhabi royal secretly signed a deal with the Trump family to purchase a 49% stake in their fledgling cryptocurrency venture for half a billion dollars, according to company documents and people familiar with the matter. The buyers would pay half up front, steering $187 million to Trump family entities.

The deal with World Liberty Financial, which hasn’t previously been reported, was signed by Eric Trump, the president’s son. At least $31 million was also slated to flow to entities affiliated with the family of Steve Witkoff, a World Liberty co-founder who weeks earlier had been named U.S. envoy to the Middle East, the documents said. Remember when MAGA was up in arms over Hunter Biden selling some paintings? But when the corrupt Trump crime family is expose (again and again) the silence is deafening.

Even the Murdoch group now highlights Trump's corruption (and his pals' corruption, such as Witkoff)! 🤣🤣🤣

It also identifies what the counterpart may be:

Under the Biden administration, Tahnoon’s efforts to get AI hardware had been largely stymied over fears that the sensitive technology could be diverted to China....

.......Two months after the March meeting, the administration committed to give the tiny Gulf monarchy access to around 500,000 of the most advanced AI chips a year—enough to build one of the world’s biggest AI data center clusters.

What? You lefties have some problem with The Art of the Self-Dealing?

And have some sympathy for poor Eric. It was Eric who signed the deal. Guy's just trying to put food on his kids' table. You begrudge him that? You think without his name and his dad's position Eric could even get a job pumping gas? Where is your heart, lefty? If you can't leverage a position like President of the United States, what good is public service?

Anyway, there's precedent for this kind of stuff, so really nothing new here in this nothingburger.

Recall.....

In Trump 1.0, poor Jared was facing a $1.2 billion balloon payment on his 666 Fifth Ave tower. It certainly couldn't be his fault the property only had a market value 0f $600 million and he had $1.5 billion in debt against it. Who coulda known Jared top ticked the NYC RE market? Lucky for Jared, he found some business-savvy leaders of Qatar, anxious to have Trump-imposed sanctions against the Sheik-let removed. In a quid pro quo that defines "dealmaking" in Trump World, Jared---then a Senior Adviser to the President (father-in-law)---arranged BOTH the removal of the sanctions on Qatar and a totally unrelated refinancing of his 666 Fifth Ave by the Government of Qatar, whereby Jared was able to make that $1.2 billion balloon payment, and Qatar assumed part ownership of the $600 million property. That's kind of a two-for-one deal (spend $1.2 billion to get $600 million).

It's offensive you would try to throw some shade on The Greatest President in history. The man is honest as the day is long.

And caring, too. Many people are saying nobody has a bigger heart than Trump. Why just the other day he gave that undocumented migrant from Trinidad---Nicki Minaj---one of his Trump Card citizenships, an object not approved by Congress and which usually sells for $1 million. Trump gave it to Nicki for free, which may well have saved her from being hog-tied by ICE and sent off to that CECOT gulag in El Salvador.

And then there's Steve witkoff, from special Middle East envoy. It turns out his sons were in on the deal too. But all they got out of it was a mere $37 million.

Well, you know what the Administration says:

It's not corruption if it's out in the open.

Like the 747 from Qatar, that Trump gets to keep after his term ends.

And let's be fair...there's so much self-dealing in this Administration that nobody can really expect them to announce all of it. Sometimes a few trifling matters---like a paltry $500 million---fall through the cracks.

The WSJ is just giving a helping hand getting this out in the open, which obviates the corruption aspect of it.

This World Liberty Financial seems to bestow good fortune on many people, not just Sheikhs in the Middle East.

The fact that Binance does business with World Liberty Financial is what got its CEO a pardon from President Trump, despite the fact the CEO helped launder money to Hamas.

Greed will get the conman and his family in the end. They just cannot help themseleves, all about the money. Hopefully one day they will all end up in a lovely jail for 20 years.

Why are people that want to take money from the people that earn it and give it to themselves not considered greedy?

Worse world leader in the history of the world ever and then some. Because there's no competency amongst the madness - just grift .lies and madness and the world and his dog are finally saying eff you. Do your worse - no one cares any more he can bluster into the wind. The world has moved on and is looking for adults to do business with. As a radical left lunatic that has waited all my life to see the US pay for it's hegemonic infamy I say bring it on MAGA all the way. Trump 2028. He is more potent to America's enemies than any malign state or terrorist group he is destroying it from within and from the very top. It's Russia's greatest ever diplomatic coup and an astonishing result all round. And there is no method to this madness just his intemperate thoughts as he rises each day and starts to press levers with lips flecked with half eaten McMuffins washed down with litres of diet coke whils watching Fox news and rage posting on Truth Social.

Thanks Claude;

They Frick You Up, Your MAGA Hats (after Philip Larkin)

They frick you up, your MAGA hats. They may not mean to, but they do. They fill you full of the faults they had And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fricked up in their turn By fools in polyester ties, Who half the time were Fox-obsessed And half at telling shameless lies.

Man hands on misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. Get out as early as you can, And don't have children yourself—

Unless you'd like to watch them see A man in gold-trimmed towers dwell, Lips flecked with half-chewed McMuffins, Diet Coke, and tweets from hell.

No method here, just daily rage, Levers pressed with greasy thumbs, The worst to ever grace the stage— Not evil genius, merely crumbs

Of what a leader ought to be. Moscow smiles; the world moves on. They've found their greatest coup, you see: America destroys its own.

some people are saying that trump is honest and there is no corruption to see there....some people are fuill of crap.

The flippant use of "crime family" and so on needs to be tempered by having the paper trail to nail someone. Blowing off steam is good but proving criminality is something else. Example of the Qatar plane - The airplane belongs to the U.S. Government (Department of Defense / U.S. Air Force), not to Donald Trump personally. The donation agreement was signed between Qatar and the U.S. Department of Defense.

If criminality can be proven by the Democrats, wouldn't we have heard about it by now?

The DOJ has been weaponized to to go after Trump's perceived enemies. The FBI is told to investigate Democrat "crimes". Ignore or bury anything else.

The heads of those two organizations are Kash Patel and Pam Bondi, both staunch Trump loyalists.

Are you really that naive?

I doubt the Dems are naive and will be collecting evidence - from whistleblowers not FBI and DHS. Not everyone in those agencies is evil.

Unlike Mayorkas and whoever the FBI dude was prior to Patel? Totally neutral, right? Eric Holder, the pit bull, he was soooo disloyal?

The problem with going after Trump's corruption - even as so unhidden as it is - lies within the fact that all the instruments of investigation and justice have been systematically and deliberately usurped (FBI, Justice, Supreme Court - just to name a few of the most important ones). In many ways, as horrible as they are, the ICE antics are a distraction from the carpetbagging by Trump and family happening in plain sight.

True. However, the fact there are lawsuits, in progress over the firing of people who dissent from the policies of the leaders, is a red flag.

AFAIK James Comey never had a lawsuit against him for wrongful termination. Patel's got a couple of dozen.

Maybe because the FBI was stacked with Comey's "insurance policies".

Got it. Andy McCabe and the crew were neutral arbiters engaged in legitimate law enforcement.

You arent old enough to know or remember how the FBI operates. Guess it all depends whose ox is getting gored, huh. At least this FBI is concentrating on criminals.

Given only 5% to 6% of registered voters in Washington, D.C. are Republicans, I think it's fair to say that it is a lot easier to find employees that do not support the president's agenda than do.

Employees of the Executive that refuse to support the president's agenda should be terminated,
