February 5Feb 5 With an id.me account I have been to access my IRS records for the past year. The challenge is setting up the the Id.me account. It is multiple steps and an actual video call with an id.me rep. The same day my CPA filed my tax return I was able to confirm the return was being processed. Having access to the IRS.gov site has been helpful.

I can also my tax record for the past 3 years. Most importantly I know if the IRS has tried ot contact about any past returns. Having access to irs.gov has been beneficial to me. I use id.me to accrss irs.gov.
