There is one dude on here that all he does is bang on about days won, lefties, trolls and can't make a single post without getting a flock of red thumbs. I have never once come on the site and not see

Just curious and definitely not judging anyone here at all. How many hours a day do you think is healthy to be spending reading and posting here on this forum?

1 hour per day - Normal. You drop in, read a bit, then bounce back to Pornhub and get on with the more important things in your life.

2 to 5 hours per day - Clearly bored. Probably avoiding something more productive, like going out shopping for a new backscratcher.

5 to 10 hours per day - Getting desperate. The forum is starting to replace real interests. Clearly not getting enough flange.

10 to 15 hours per day - Has no life whatsoever. Basically living in an imaginary social world. Forum is your only remaining identity. Only other joy left in life is pinching a respectable loaf.

15+ hours per day - Completely lost. Weird. Beyond saving. AN derangement disorder. Borderline needs an intervention. A frontal lobotomy is worth considering.

Used to spend a couple of hours daily, but as it seemed to deteriorate plus many of the questions from readers requesting assistance about something locally I would respond but lately have dropped to possibly an hour a day and sometimes even less. Not much I can help with folks as there are many here with better info for some of the varied requests. I sometimes also just feel like opining my two cents worth.

Then we get pages and pages of this (below)... It would be good IF there were some way, not to just ignore, but to remove their presence completely - I don't want to remove someones posting rights because I don't like what they write. I just don't want them taking up any real-estate on my screen at all - by placing someone on ignore they really should be removed from our visibility completely - even when 'others' quote them.

Of course - its easy enough not to be bothered by pathetic trolls or those who foolishly give them oxygen - however it starts to get a bit silly when we have a scenario such as below...

How amazing is that. Your screenshot looks exactly like mine. 😉

Do you understand the concept of hypocrisy...? 🤔

Nope. I discuss topics mostly. I only discuss others when they become weird. Anyone who makes 15/15 about another without discussing the topic is weird. Those tobacco and drinking topics attracted many normal people. That 15/15 guy trolled me for a year. He had issues and refuses to discuss topics. I talk about restaurants he says i never went to Thailand. Creepy trolls like him need to be called out.

Your description fits more that a few AN posters.

My concern is the folks who have hundreds of Anti Trump, anti America and anti semtic articles, videos, Social Media posts and memes in their personal databases ready to be posted. Almost like a full time job. Talk about obsession LOL

There is at least one poster who keeps his posts count high by starting a thread, then replies, multiple times, on his own thread. OBTW, he thinks he's everybody's "buddy". My guess is he never got a trophy playing youth sports, nor got Student of the Month in elementary school. 🤣

Then there is the person (using gender neutral terms 😉) that uses MAGA fascist on a daily basis 🤣.

Just browsing with a bit of poking, I's say 30 minutes. On specific topics or interest I may linger/research a bit more, rather infrequently I try to make a contribution.

wasted way too much on here.

might post the occasional blurb, but definitely no more trump topics for me. way too draining and time-consuming.

No more Trump topics? That'll be difficult being that he seems to get a mention in almost all threads on here, however unlikely they appear. He seems to live rent free in the head of an awful lot of deranged AN posters.

Peak trump was a few months decades back, if ever!

I hardly sleep – I'm so afraid of missing something important in AN – and then OP talks about only 1-hour per day...😳

I don't spend much time here, but it is not simply about how much time you spend on the site. A better measure is whether what you post is found to be useful, appreciated, or enjoyed by other members, or whether most people actively dislike your opinions altogether and would prefer not to see you posting at all. I've found that distinction is reflected quite clearly in the reputation score shown on a user’s profile.

As a general rule, a reputation score should be at least one and a half times your total post count. Double or triple is even better. I just looked at one guy's profile who has been posting on this topic, and his reputation score is nearly four times his total post count. That speaks for itself.

When someone’s reputation score is far lower than their total post count, it usually means they are spending too much time on the site while providing very little value. In most cases, a lot of people are probably irritated by their presence. At that point, it does not really matter whether they are spending one hour or fifteen hours per day on the site. It would be healthier and more productive to find something better to do than to continue persistently annoying everyone else. In that situation, the polite response is simply to move on.

A reputation is far in excess of a post count should only apply to one of the genuine experts on here, who spend the majority of their time dispensing valuable and useful information I won't mention any names for fear of upsetting anybody I fail to mention. But people similar to the late great Ubon Joe. I'm sure you all know what I'm talkin about

Anybody else with an unnaturally high reputation Either has no strong opinions , spends all their time sitting on the proverbial fence and / or stating the obvious, . and will say just about anything to get their coveted "likes"

50 man circle jerk for likes. Sad retirement. Who cares whether strangers like you. That is the left for you. Truly sad. When people pass on nobody from here will go to your funeral.

I did not ask you for your usual pointless and insulting reply!

I suggest you let the person I asked the question of to respond!

Unless of course that is that you are both the same person and forgot to switch over ID's!

Yes, your concern with what other, totally anonymous people may have stashed away in their "personal databases" is a weird but fascinating obsession.
