Sodium-ion, is it as safe as we are being told.

Draw your own conclusions.

The test method using 6mm lead projectiles (OK he shot the thing) does leave something to be desired but it did go rather well.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

It was interesting, I think a time-lapse with the shots 5 minutes about would have been better.

That sounded a bit like my Webley springer...

No battery can withstand extreme abuse and sodium-ion cells are not magically explosion-proof. They have improved stability and that's where it ends.

Great baiting video though.

Think I'll stick to Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) for now

YouTube baiting :- To attract clicks, views, or engagement on YouTube by using exaggerated, misleading, or emotionally provocative tactics.

I think it safe to say, that if you're going to have large batteries, care should be taken storing them.

When you short a lead-acid battery tt can explode and cover everyone in acid

Did you watch it? It did not seem exaggerated or misleading, to me. I was not left believing the product was dangerous, or that I should not buy it.

Yes I watched it, and like you observed exaggeration.

Yeah, our LifePO4 packs store about the same energy as 13L of petrol/gasoline just in their electrical energy.

I've said it before, treat your batteries as you would treat the fuel for your mower! Definitely not in the bedroom.

I would much rather be in a garage with the leaky battery, than a leaky gas can...
