Firstly, the above quoted piece is nothing to do with the point I want to make. I used it in a previous post, it seems to remain on my "clipboard", and the hopelessly inadequate split second availability of the "remove edit button" means that I cannot get rid of it. Mentioned it before, several times I am sure!

However, the point I wish to make is that I was surprised (not really) to hear no praise, applause or standing ovation, for the arduous task undertaken by The Attorney General, the FBI and the Department of Justice in general, in protecting the President from increasingly credible allegations of paedophile abuse of young girls, accompanied by mounting evidence,- even to the extent apparently one hears now of "losing" two, maybe three statements made by a victim, under oath, when she was interviewed by the FBI. It must be a great comfort to The President to know that so many "have his back" to protect him so. Surely deserving of a warm welcome, sustained applause and a standing ovation from the faithful?

Surely nothing is more germane to the "State of The Union" than acknowledgement of this? Surely it fits the bill as "disgusting, disgraceful and something to be ashamed of"?

Trump the Law & Order President. Going beyond what POTUS have to do to keep the country safe , honored victims of leftist/extremists violence during his State of the Union address. National Guard members killed and shot & honored Erica Kirk / Charlie Kirk murdered in Cold blood by a lefty extremists.

"Trump awarded Beckstrom with the Purple Heart posthumously, along with U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, who was also shot in the attack.

He also referred to the killing of Charlie Kirk — “violently murdered by an assassin” — among other stories".

America is just embarrassing itself on the world stage with an undignified SOTU. Its reality show TV.

Just 32% of Americans now say that Trump has had the right priorities, while 68% say he hasn’t paid enough attention to the country’s most important problems. That’s the president’s most negative reading on that question to date during either of his terms in office. At the same time, Americans say, 61% to 38%, that Trump’s policies will move the country in the wrong direction rather than the right one. And Trump’s job approval rating among all adults remains mired at 36%.

Some of the steepest declines include a 19-point drop in approval among Latino Americans and an 18-point drop among Americans younger than 45. Among political independents, Trump’s approval rating has dropped 15 points over the past year to 26%, the lowest it’s been in either of his terms.

Asked to choose the issue they’d most like Trump to address in his State of the Union speech, 57% pick the economy and cost of living, more than quadrupling the share who want to hear him focus on any other individual topic, including immigration, the state of democracy, health care policy, crime or foreign policy. Half of Democrats say they want Trump’s speech to touch on economic issues, rising to 56% among independents and 65% of Republicans.

“Part of the reason why I think people elected Trump was because they were hurting under Biden. … I think people were expecting Trump to provide a little bit of relief to their suffering,” wrote one poll respondent, a Republican from New Mexico. “Grocery prices are just through the roof. Everything is so expensive. … So I think he needs to talk about the economy, and he needs to talk about what kind of things he’s already done.”

Orange Ceasar basks in unadulterated GOP worship. Yikes.

Sometimes things get out of hand, fraud, murder, soft on crime initiatives that call for someone who has the balls enough to call it like it is, crazy, sick ,that be activists pushing policies that let violent repeat offenders roam free, prioritize criminals over victims, and turn cities into danger zones while pretending it's progressive justice or humanitarian because it offers a second or third chance for the oppressed of the world.

At this point in time America has much to be ashamed of, and Trump has more skeletons in his closet than a Papuan cannibal. He has much to hide. And they seem to be working arduously to protect him against any sort of exposure. Even his fervent Christian devotees would have a hard time justifying continued support, if they knew the extent of the statutory rapes and abuse that took place by his own hands.

Foreign nationals and blue states officials have no business issuing and driving 80,000 pound semi trailers many of which carry hazardous materials . Many of the foreign nationals get issued work permits under Biden with no way of knowing their driving history in their country so.

"I just introduced the Dalilah Law President Trump called for at the SOTU last night to get illegal truckers off our roads! Illegals who can’t read English or follow our rules should never be allowed behind the wheel".

riclag, you truly are embarrassing yourself here, do you realize that?

"Hundreds of American citizens killed or maimed at the hands of illegal foreign nationals." Really? You and your dunce of a president pick one and claim this?

No, they are locking up regular people after saying they were only going after criminal elements. Tail between the legs after leaving Michigan? GOP are a bunch of Trump ball washing imbeciles. Say hello to the midterms where Trump gets smoked.

My favorite quickie from NY Times:

After Mr. Trump spoke his last words — “God bless you, and God bless America” — Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. turned to three of the other Supremes and gave a curt little nod. They turned on their heels and filed out, one by one, right past the president as he leaned forward and started shaking hands.

One of the problems with Trump's incredibly fragile ego and brain, is that he ends up making enemies out of people that he really needs as allies, and picking on the members of the Supreme Court is not smart, not advisable, and shows his truly moronic nature, and the level of vengeance and hatred that he carries around in that ridiculously dark heart of his. He is such a sad and pathetic human specimen. Make-America-Go-Away-Hat-Greenland.jpg

Supreme Court Justices that did not attend the 2026 State of the Union address

  • Justice Samuel Alito

Callum just posted Gorsuch didn't attend but Kavanaugh did. Doesn't really matter which of the 2 did though.

I wanted to post a reply to this, but I gave up because of the bogus software of this forum. Please fix it.

Anyway here is the link, but I can't post any info about, for the reasons mentioned.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2026/02/24/supreme-court-justice-trump-state-of-the-union/88832125007/

As I posted yesterday different topic:

“What happened today with the two United States Supreme Court Justices that I appointed against great opposition, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett, whether people like it or not, never seems to happen with Democrats,” Trump said on social media. “They vote against the Republicans, and never against themselves, almost every single time, no matter how good a case we have.”

https://www.politico.com/news/2026/02/20/donald-trump-tariff-supreme-court-reaction-00791245

NB Doesn't seem to bother the President that Justices Alito and Thomas do about the same thing 180 degrees almost every single time, no matter how good (or bad) a case we have.

I will make an exception for this topic. Usually, when riclag starts one, I move on to something which may have meaning.

How anyone can view Trump's speech as anything but self-congratulatory, and devoid of factual basis, can only be explained by heavy consumption of a hallucinogen.

did the GOP stood up for the ICE killings of innocent Americans, this is the must disgraceful moment in American history Americans killing INNOCENT AMERICAN

The United States is angry, nay, it’s outraged. The killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good at the hands of federal agents has sparked anger across the country, with many demanding for the abolition of the federal agency.

However, data reveals that Pretti and Good aren’t the only two who have died at the hands of ICE agents. As of date, eight people have either been killed by federal agents or have died while in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody in 2026 so far. In 2025, this number was the highest — 32 — since 2004.

AI Gemini per the above:

Historical Intent

Universal Aspiration: Francis Bellamy, who wrote the original Pledge of Allegiance in 1892, intended the phrase as a unifying statement for every individual in the country.

Inclusion of Immigrants: Bellamy specifically wanted the pledge to help incorporate immigrants into American life, suggesting the "all" was meant to include those not yet citizens.

Wheres the source for him having said that ?
I'll wait but, to save you time, he never did. Thats what some interpret "ALL" to mean instead of what it actually says so it fits their narrative.

And, the stunned and useless libtards were setup and completely owned by trump when he posed the question:

Trump asked lawmakers in the chamber to stand if they believed in the "fundamental principle" that

"the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens."

No Democrats stood.

This should and likely will become a campaign ad for 2026 mid-term election

Waiting to see the Trump hating marxist leftist try to run, spin and hide from the optics/image of not standing and supporting protecting America! The democrats have a unique ability to shoot their fool selves in the foot and an affinity for complete failure all because of hate and derangement combined with their stunning, mind numbing overt level of stupidity.

Bellamy’s purpose was twofold. First, he wanted to recover some of the patriotism of the Civil War era. Second, and most importantly, he wanted to provide a patriotic emblem to schoolchildren, particularly those immigrant children who might have mixed national allegiances.

The United States, especially those states in the Northeast, saw hundreds of thousands of immigrants entering the country, many of them eastern and southern European. Moreover, their religion was Catholic or, more alarmingly, Jewish and perceived as permanently foreign.

The Pledge of Allegiance is thus our pledges of allegiance. It has always symbolized, as Bellamy intended, the union of a nation of different nationalities, religions and regions into one strong and cohesive whole. It stood for the vision of Bellamy’s hero, Abraham Lincoln, of one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

Trump breaks records again! Never in history have fewer Americans tuned in to watch a SOTU. Which comes as no surprise at all given the fact that to watch a traitor and convicted

criminal and likely pedo rapist stutter and stammer while filling his diapers is no one's idea of fun.

Be sure to thank biden and and his autopen band of treasonous losers for importing MILLIONS of illegal criminal aliens. They are responsible for this by their open border policies, illegal migration polices, illegal sanctuary state/city status and the incendiary, dangerous, illegal rhetoric directed against federal law enforcement lawfully engaged in their congressional mandated law enforcement activities. So there, those two paid domestic terrorists FAFO't that you don't threaten law enforcement. Hard lesson, but a necessary one.

Remember when the Court ruled against Biden buying votes with student loan forgiveness and he went ahead with it? Why was that not a "the greatest threat to the constitution <sic> this country has ever had."?
