United States and Israel Launch Strikes on Iran

Featured Replies

Trump's war on chaos continues. Creating chaos. Israel apparently forced his hand. All bets are off now the middle east on fire and if Iran centre collapses with have 10s of thousands of vicious heavily armed and motivated cadres who can widen the chaos with their proxies and lobe wolves and suicide bombers and noone to negotaite with. Remember who started this and remember who is to blame. Israel is the greatest source on instability in the Middle East. That's it. And the Kuwait AD shot down 3 american jets - clown show - probably entitle princes who spent junkets "training" in US never expecting to so war in reality. This is finally it the idiot that is Trump comes with a huge cost to the world and his home base are about to find out how bad that really this. May he rot in hell.

250 million Shia had their Pope killed because......Israel.

Are you asking because you don't know - or are you asking because you want to defend Iran for making those threats ?

I mean are they threatening this because the US and Israel have been threatening to bomb for years? If this disrupts oil trade and Americans get higher gas prices this is on Trump now because it didn't have to be this way.

I'm just filling my car to the brim and a10 litre jerry can before the rush starts. Prices are set to soar , the middle east is in flames and the Gulf States will never be the same again that idiot Trump poked a hornet's best with an idiots comprehension. He is beyong eveil along with his Netanhayu whisperere who would rather see chaos in the world than a messy order. There is a real existential dread in the world today and Trump/Israel have unleashed that evil. There is no one to negotiate with just a headless nation with numerous automonous cells who are now emeboldened to cause maximum global chaos.

Bahrain now - have Grok verified.

Do you really think Trump is going around scamming world leaders out of 1 billion dollars? Or that world leaders are stupid enough to fall for scams?

Is he scamming, imo he is.

Are they stupid, I'd say they're investing the money in a good relationship with the us for the coming years.

You are giving Iran way too much credit, lol! The majority of their offensive capabilities have already been destroyed. What they have left might hit a few buildings, sure, but it's nowhere near the armageddon they promised. I doubt the blockade of Hormuz will continue much longer, nor that oil prices will rise much higher. Big fat nothingburger really as Iran is not the superpower it's pretended to be in AI videos.

You are the sort of MAGidiot that believes in the cr@p that comnes out of the great one's mouth. And now Trump's talking about boots on the ground - they would love that it would Iraq on steroids with the headchoppers having a turkey shoot on the Yanks. One thing you can say about Shia's they are not afraid too die and have enough ammo and high explosives to create a whole new division of the disabled vets. oh andarab gulf leaders are strating to realise that the Zionsists run the show not them.

So Trump has taken over Venezuelan oil production

Wiped away all the fossil fuel restrictions in the States

Forced the closure of the Hormuz Strait that supplies the rest of the world with oil.

Well, I wonder why!?!?!

If it hasn’t happened already the divergence of Israel’s and Trump’s illegal war objectives will eventually present itself.

Another illegal ‘forever war’.

US treasure and US blood pished away again.

When Iran doesn't roll over and welcome conquering US/Israeli troops with flowers and garlands he will get bored. They aren't handing over their resources to him and his crime family then he will get double bored. Nasty , nasty people. The IRCG will reform admittedley with less missiles and capacity but a desire for revenge on US procies and assets in the region. Israel's objective was to eliniate Hamas completely - they never did - the hard men militants with guns and bombs find a way to prosper in their own twisted ways. I'd hazard a guess they would like to bait troops into a land invasion. That would be their favoured outcome. Will that happen who knows and if the did get some alive it will be back to orange jump suits and swords broadcast to the world - this time in full HD or even maybe 4K.

during his 2024 campaign he claimed so many times, maybe everyday, that he would end all existing wars at that time and he would never start a war,he blamed Bush for the Iraq war although he supported it, the so called Peace Maker should change his name to the War Maker

“Trump’s Best Foreign Policy? Not Starting Any Wars.”

And yet in his first year back in office, Trump bombed seven countries: Yemen, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia and Venezuela..... that's what I would call a "real" peace maker LOL

The America First president who built his political brand on opposing foreign military adventures has unleashed a war of choice aimed at regime change

it turns out that Donald Trump, the self-proclaimed “candidate of peace”, is just as eager to start new wars. Throughout the 2024 presidential campaign

Trump promised no wars. Now he’s a Bush-style regime change president

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/mar/01/trump-promised-no-wars-now-hes-a-bush-style-regime-change-president

the irony of things that sooner rather then later come to hit you on the rear end, that place where the sun doesn't shine

Trump, whose “America First” ethos of opposing foreign wars crumbled when he launched strikes Saturday on Iran and killed its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, decried in the April 2020 news briefing how many taxpayer dollars the U.S. has wasted on war.

We’ve spent $8 trillion in the Middle East, and we’re not fixing our roads in this country?” Trump said in the clip. “How stupid — how stupid is that? And we’re not fixing our highways, our tunnels, our bridges, our hospitals, even, our schools, even? It’s crazy.”

“The irony is that ‘Operation Epic Fury’ has already cost an estimated $120 billion in its first four days alone, not including the surging price of oil

He also said during his victory speech on the eve of his 2024 election win, “I’m not going to start a war, I’m going to end wars.”

Trump Faces MAGA Backlash Over Iran War

https://au.yahoo.com/news/trump-faces-maga-backlash-over-225249941.html

‘Operation Epic Fury’ has already cost an estimated $120 billion in its first four days alone, not including the surging price of oil

When you spent $120 billion (probably $500billion by the end) one of the modeled outcomes is things could be worse.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/mar/03/trump-says-he-fears-irans-next-leader-could-be-as-bad-as-the-previous-person

Now some people vote for this man to end "Forever wars". But it looks like the deceased Supreme Leader's successor is going to be his son, heralding in 40 years of the same, with added "you killed my dad".

“I guess the worst case would be we do this and then somebody takes over who’s as bad as the previous person, right? That could happen. We don’t want that to happen. It would probably be the worst,” he said.

“You go through this and then in five years, you realise you put somebody in who was no better.

Tankers can’t get through the straits of Hormuz without being attacked

Personally I feel its only a matter of time before Iran or its supporters start attacking targets on US soil.

They know that while they may be able to inflict considerable damage especially if ground troops are deployed in Iran, in a conventional war they (probably) could not win it.

That doesn't mean to say they would lose.

A terrorist doesn't abide by conventional rules of war his or her only rule is to inflict as much pain death and destruction as possible and it doesn't matter how many carrier strike groups there are or how many nuclear missiles you have they will not be able to stop them.

Military or civilian men women children babies it doesn't matter their only goal would be to inflict as much pain fear and hardship on America and its people as possible.

The worst part is they are very difficult to identify and stop before they act.

I think we can all agree some of them are fanatics who would even welcome death/martyrdom in their quest for revenge, suicide bombers for instance.

We all remember 9/11 it's just possible they could make that look like a walk in the park and it could go on for years.

US military warning that Iran is trying to exhaust the US capacity for anti-drone interceptors

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/mar/04/us-interceptors-iranian-drones

The challenge is to track down Shahed launchers

https://militarnyi.com/en/news/the-way-the-russians-launch-shahed-drones-was-revealed/

The drones might stacked up in a commercial truck body, or, seeing how Russia is using these launched from Dodge pickups, from a light truck.

But Iran is also using these light launchers; they are clearly designed to be collapsible, an easily transported and deployed rapidly.

Amazon data centre in Bahrain targeted.

https://www.cnbc.com/2026/03/04/amazon-bahrain-data-centers-targeted-iran-drone-strike.html

Of significance, because a few months, the President announced Project Stargate (!) a plan to supercharge AI adoption through expansion of core infrastructure, funded by the Arab banks. I suspect the bit that was solar powered data centres in a Middle Eastern country is now dead in the water.

The War, or SMO, may last until September. Over by Christmas I suppose.

https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/pentagon-prepares-israeli-us-war-iran-could-last-until-september-report

So the intent is carpet bombing/ Gaza-isation of Iran, carved up into break away states. The Kurds are boing tooled up. They won't win, anymore than they won in Turkey, Syria, Iraq. I expect to hear some softer language about the Balochs, depending how important the US thinks of Pakistan.

A former Marine in his dress blues, protests about the Iran SMO. Gets his arm broken. I think the guards/police officers make a bit of a meal out of removing him. None of them seemed to know restraint techniques.

It appears the girl's school was deliberately targeted, rather than being a victim of falling debris. Photo's show deliberate hits on several buildings, but others carefully avoided. It also appears that a clinic was targeted. There is no excuse for this. We rightfully charged the Japanese for targeting hospitals in Singapore and Hong Kong.

first he said / instructed the people of Iran to take care of the country as soon as the US & Israel move out, couple days later he said, I want to get involved in choosing the new leader of Iran, as always nobody can trust the guy as he changes mind every hour....

He also said that he went him based on a "feeling" come on, the guy started a war based on a "feeling" same feeling that Bush had about Iraq (he did called it the Iraq War), yes he wanted a democracy a regime change just like Trump and they called it a military operation just like Putin did when he invaded Ukraine, Trump is calling the invasion of Iran "operation" Epic Fury, not a war just an operation and the brain washed GOP congress and Senate called it a special operation, they are trying to cover their arses if something really bad happen they can claim that was not a war, it was a simple operation but the Israel boot leaker called it a war and he also said, to contradict Trump, that Trump/US military went in first and Israel followed, Trump he said the contrary but he also said it was based on a "feeling"... whom and what to believe

Ive now done 2 things I never thought I would do

I've just ordered a new electric car. Ive been considering it for some time but not really 100% convinced this latest debacle has just convinced me.

The 2nd is how I pay for it. I have always either paid cash or HP.

Now this is for UK readers mainly. I have just ordered a brand new top of the range Frontera electric Ultimate PCP for £121 a month 5000 miles per year with free (charging) electricity for 12 months. I have seen it for £115 a month (without the free electricity).

This means I can get rid of my 2.0 ltr diesel before it depreciates too much.

As these days I only do between 1000 - 2000 miles a year, mostly no more the 20 miles from home and I always park on my drive outside my garage for me it makes perfect sense financially and I get a new car with all the latest gismo's and safety features.

So no MOT's no diesel fuel cheaper servicing cheaper road tax, none for the first year (£10 paid) no repair bills (3yr guarantee) and I get to drive a brand new car as well as money in my pocket from the sale of my old one.

The disadvantage is it's coming straight from the factory (after being checked at a local dealer) and I will have to wait until June before I get it.

Kuwait just cut oil production. Not because Iran bombed a single Kuwaiti oil well. Not because sanctions were imposed. Not because OPEC ordered a reduction. Because the tanks are full and there is nowhere to put the oil. Kuwait produced 2.8 million barrels per day before February 28. Every day since, that oil has flowed from the wells into onshore storage tanks. Every day since, zero tankers have loaded at Kuwaiti export terminals because the Strait of Hormuz is closed to commercial shipping. JPMorgan estimated an 18 day storage runway. Today is day 18. The tanks are full. The math completed itself. Kuwait declared force majeure and began curtailing production. Iraq cut 1.5 million barrels per day last week for the same reason. The same storage arithmetic is now counting down in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.

Effectively, an oil blockade is in place because of GPS intereferance in a war zone.

https://shanakaanslemperera.substack.com/p/the-invisible-siege-how-insurance?r=6p7b5o&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true&_src_ref=t.co

What has happened in the Strait of Hormuz is the precise maritime instantiation of a mechanism that operated with identical structural logic during the 2008 financial crisis. In September 2008, the interbank lending market did not freeze because banks were insolvent. It froze because the cost of verifying counterparty solvency exceeded the expected return of the overnight lending transaction. Banks that were perfectly solvent could not borrow, because no lender could afford to determine which banks were solvent and which were not. The verification cost inverted the transaction economics, and the market seized.

In the Strait of Hormuz in March 2026, the insurance market has not withdrawn because every vessel will be attacked. It has withdrawn because the cost of verifying whether any particular vessel will survive any particular transit now exceeds the premium income from insuring that transit. The tankers hit by Iranian fire, the IRGC’s VHF broadcasts warning that no ship is allowed to pass, the GPS and GNSS interference blanketing the Gulf of Oman, and the confirmed fatality of a seafarer collectively establish a threat environment in which actuarial risk assessment becomes functionally impossible. When risk cannot be modeled, it cannot be priced. When it cannot be priced, cover is withdrawn. When cover is withdrawn, the system freezes regardless of whether the underlying risk has materialized for any specific vessel.
