Put the blame where it belongs. We see idiots daily here and most of them are tourists with no respect for the country or it's people. They are the same back home. The fact still remains that most of the problems here are local against local.

I don't see many attacking you here. It's mostly the putdowns against the foreigners, which are unnecessary as the members here aren't causing the trouble in Thailand but those tourists. Of course a few here are weirdos, but that's normal in an online forum. As far as bashing Thais, I don't do that. I just point out what I see from my experience here. It's the same everywhere , as there are good and bad here.

We are all visitors, we must be on our best behaviour, ALL THE TIME.

Thailand is not perfect, it has its faults, not foreigner friendly at times but for me it's the best country on the planet to live for me. I love Thailand and the Thai's. I have never had any negative dealings with Thai's only some foreigners in Thailand.

When I'm in Pattaya I see a disrespectful, nasty foreigner daily. I don't interfere as long as they leave me alone.

Saying that, foreigners in Thailand are my best friends.

Retired to Thailand in 1993 together with my Thai wife. Now 85, wife 70, and we are still both very happy to be here.

So many arguments here remind me of two bald men fighting over a comb.

Usually I quite enjoy when a thread goes off-topic, but this one? Not so much. In any case, I am 74. If I had to guess the average age of the AN membership I would put it somewhere around the late 60s.

For example, possible link to senility, and so an AI evaluating keystrokes, including speed and other measures of keystroke behavior, can tell and predict quite a bit.
