Read again. ON UP. New AND second hand clothes. They sell both, new at new prices, and second hand, at second hand prices. "Along with these are sellers with new items, comparable to the local Lotus and Big-C stores prices"................ 10 Baht on up means 10 baht to new prices, and most are second hand clothes and shoes very cheap, at 10-50 baht.

Read again. I quoted your words, you said new and secondhand items and that, clearly, includes new items, from B10 which clearly, includes new items at B10! But it's ok, I realise that you were just making up an exaggerated story.

i rarely find my size here which is a 46. end up either picking them up in KL or using Ebay. frustrating. most shoe sizes in Thailand stop at 10.

I'm sure you would.

Read again. I didn't say new items were 10 baht. On up means on up. It does not include new items, as there are both new and second hand items imported, and at new and second hand prices. It clearly means what I wrote.

Really? Where is that mandated?

As far as i know it is the same all over Thailand,7-11 policy.

Been like that for awhile now.

Probably easier to steal new clothes in a Big C or Tesco. Go into a fitting room with 3 shirts, put one on, put your shirt(best a XXL on top) , make a big show of returning the other 2 shirts, and walk out.

This is not a confession, just the basics of smart shoplifting.

Are you referring to a Walmart that is located in California?

I'm from Hartford CT. That neighborhood is so full of thieves that even the employees steal. Stealing is an organized crime where thieves steal everything from deodorant to underwear (which are now locked behind glass) for resale on Amazon. So, Mr. Expert On Everything, have you lived in California? Do tell us about life there.

Bottom line, just in most other countries, it's up to the victim whether or not to press charges, and I commend the owner for choosing not to be vindictive. He's a better man than me. I'm more inclined to punish.

He probably could have got the lot for less if he had just paid upfront.

Wow! By golly, I can barely keep up with the shenanigans of these "high quality", "big-spending" Western tourists!

I can just imagine the trolling if he's been Asian/ Russian
