Stayed at a mid tier hotel in Pattaya a few months back. Adjoining room, noise all night in the room next door. When i went past the room in the morning, there were literally 15 indians guys all sleeping in that one room. Most of them on the floor with a blanket. Crazy how many times i have seen them share a room on such large numbers.

Furthermore surprised not see Benidorm Brits haven't made the list and their perpetuance for violence, cheapness and muling back 'products' to the UK.

Let me guess ..15 indians and one very exhausted ladyboy in the one room.

Brother, take a long, hard look in the mirror. if you're staying in a hotel that allows 15 Indians in one room you are no better than a Benidorm Brit.

We have a couple of good Thai friends who live somewhere in America and they have a couple of Thai restaurants, and she was saying only yesterday that people dont have any money, they are ordering food online then complaining.

and want a $100 refunds, OK, then bring the food back, then they shut up. So you can throw the Americans into that pot,

Just because they live in America doesn’t mean they’re American, you schmuck

After reading the headline but before reading the article, I tried to guess in my mind what the three nationalities would be. And I nailed it. Ha. Some things are so predictable.

I did that too. and also nailed it. Wasn't difficult if you've lived here the past few years.

Your silly anecdote proves nothing big man. Get a life

It was most likely that but he didn't ask. Or more likely his anecdote is a fib and he wants to stir the pot. He can't even say WHERE in America this happened.

Every time I hear stories like this I think man what the hell is happening to America... and then I remember the country is being swamped by millions of 3rd world immigrants so there's really no such thing as an American anymore just people residing in America.

So..... Too which North American tribe do you belong?

So they left the door open so you could conveniently see inside to see them all sprawled across the floor/bathroom/on top of the wardrobe etc. How convenient.

Couldn't afford a better class of hotel? You sound a bit scummy. The type a Benidorm Brit would look down upon and go out of their way to avoid.

I’m thoroughly ashamed that as a Brit we have failed to make a podium position! 😳

Our list of underachievements seems to continually grow…. 😞

Of all the countries I have visited as a tourists and business traveler all my life, Thailand hotel staff are the best of the best. They are soooo patient, kind and welcoming, and I know their salary is small compared to other countries. The level of abuse and disrespect by these people identified in this article is shameful. I know from experience in Patts and BKK, that everyone on the list are disgusting, rude, low class human beings. I wish they would just learn basic manners and treat people the way they want to be treated, but I have no hope.

My sentiment exactly- courtesy costs nothing- and often resolves issues much more readily than showing anger

Plenty of time yet,i wouldn't panic. Only mid march.

I have heard before Indians sharing rooms to the extreme in pattaya & then bringing back a girl & trying to share her too (which amounts to rape in̈ most countries)

I have heard stories of the Chinese being very ungrateful & actually spitting at thai staff when not getting their way.

My experiences with russsians on a few occassions in hua hin left the thought of complete arrogance in some of there bad mannerisms.

And then the loud mouth yanks that you can always hear across the room telling every body that US is best at every thing.

Thai people are usually more placid & respectful so I think they must be very patient with all this, and should be treated better by tourists.

Thanks to the stupid videos of influencers and the lack of authorities controlling these areas, this cancer is spreading rapidly in Thailand. So sad 😞 … but good tourists already have a plan B to spend their money in better places outside of Thailand. 🤪

May be you tell reception to sort the matter out, or tell girlfriend who works in immigration about the situation

I'm in total agreement about the Russians. I have friends who know younger Russians. And they say they are kind, friendly and progressive. I have no idea what percentage of the population these younger people represent, nor how representative they are of the Russian population. Personally, I have met very few friendly Russians. Anywhere in the world. The vast majority of Russians I have met, seem to have very, very few redeeming qualities. It is no wonder.

I can only speak from my experience. Have run into alot of Russians both in the US, and on Phuket and Samui, 98% of them seem to be grumpy, unfriendly and gruff. Some of them are downright hostile. Likely a reflection of a very, very rough culture and environment. So, perhaps it is not a coincidence that the world is not standing up to support them and show them kindness? Just an observation.

I think it is a reflection of the current culture. It was destroyed over a century of callous and murderous leadership. Stalin, Lenin, Khruschev, now Putin. They have become somewhat savage and crude. No grace, no finesse, no courtesy. Rather uncivilized. My family was from Russia a few generations back. I used to ask my great-grandmother when she was still around, why they didn't teach us anything about the old country. She would give me this look, and tell me "the reason we never teach you about the place we came from, is because the place we came from was the most horrific country on earth, it was the most destitute, horrible, oppressive place and we were thrilled to finally get out of there and leave it behind. That's why we don't teach you about the old country, the old country doesn't exist for us.

There are a multitude of reasons why very few around the world have sympathy for the Russians. Those reasons are not limited to their serial killing, despot, thieving multi billionaire dictator for life. It is more about their nature, their history as ruthless, homicidal Cossack warriors, and their total lack of manners, and class. Not to mention the dignity, class, decency, civility, and social skills decades of Leninism, Stalinism, and now Putinism has stripped them of.

And of course, the utter failure of their leader. This is a clear case of psychological projection: Putin dreamt and failed to create a dollar-free world and establish Russia as an “energy superpower.” He allowed corruption to metastasize through the state’s fabric, undermining its security capabilities. With its mass emigration, skyrocketing divorce rate, and low fertility, Russia, more than the West, demonstrates an immense collapse of family and social values.

Russia has nothing but malicious intentions. They are a terrorist state, run by a serial killing desperado. This is a nation so lacking in redeeming qualities. They contributed alot culturally, in past centuries. Now? What are they bringing to the table? How are they of any benefit to mankind? They offer nothing but misery, death, destruction and bad will.

If you dispute this just name three things that Russia has done to benefit the world in the last 70 years besides the space program.

Sorry Phuket guys but your post just lost all credibility.

So posts that don't fit in with your twisted personal bias and vile racism are not credible ?

In which countries is group sex with a willing prostitute considered to be rape? Name just one or apologise for talking such rubbish.

Hey genius, can you stay on topic. Was this a survey about America? Last check IT WAS ABOUT PHUKET!!! You got something against Americans? Did an American steal your GF?

I once brought over 10 girls into a room with 3 friends using the basement elevator. Plenty of hotels would not check ID on guests during most of the day too, that would be evenings where you arrive and it is obvious a prostitute, that is for your safety mainly, that they ask it, if they do. The world is bigger than your bubble.

Probably 20 years ago an old friend had NINE ladies, lady boys, etc in his small Bangkok hotel room, all at the same time. He was certainly a 'party-animal'. I believe that on that night things were stolen from his room.

Another time he had had 2 ladies in his room. He was a pot smoker, and the next morning the cops entered his room and went straight to his pot-stash. We suspected that the young ladies had dobbed him in to the cops. He got 18 months probabtion and a fine, after being carted off to Lumpini police station.

Why did this turn into an Anti-American discussion? Hmmm, Jealousy or just a fetish to pick on Yanks? The Thais did not mention Americans, but some folks here mush have has some Chads or Tyrone railed their babes and are still mad about that.
