Holocaust Warning: Jewish Leader Sounds Alarm On Hate Surge

No I don't. So this is a conflation of nationality with faith, either willfully, by being misinformed or through ignorance?

What I think about Jew hatred is that it has been with us throughout history and it ebbs and flows in waves quite predictably

That was the rationale behind the political ideology of Zionism in the first place.

I think it's an infectious hysterical mental disease, very related to racism.

No excuse is needed, but if there are excuses even better for the spreading.

I personally experienced Jew hatred as a child from other children at a time when Israel had a very positive PR image in the U.S. So that wasn't about Israel.

My father who grew up in severe near starvation poverty in a time when universities had Jew quotas, the state department was controlled by Jew haters blocking refugees from Nazi Germany, there were No Jews N word or Dogs signs at swimming pools, no Jews country clubs, Jews were systemically discriminated against in many professions just as had happened historically in Europe (though not as bad as there).

So the B.S. blaming this all on Israel's current actions is just that -- B.S.

The problem with that is only one side is wanted internationally on charges of war crimes: The Jews.

The ICC issued a warrant for Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif at the same time as it issued warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant. The ICC had applied for warrants for Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, but withdrew those applications when both were confirmed dead. Turns out Deif had also been dead for several months before the warrant was issued.

In a press release, the ICC stated: “The Chamber found reasonable grounds to believe that Mr. Deif … is responsible for the crimes against humanity of murder; extermination; torture; and rape and other forms of sexual violence; as well as the war crimes of murder, cruel treatment, torture; taking hostages; outrages upon personal dignity; and rape and other forms of sexual violence.

The ICC suspected Hamas had committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, but only went after dead Hamas leaders.

Neither you nor anyone excusing or otherwise supporting Israel committing genocide will have recourse to the excuse ‘If only we had known’.

I fully support Isreals actions .

Palestinians hated Jews long before the IDF existed.

I have to ask @Gottfrid and @daveAustin two questions before I reply to their comments:

Are you addressing your "admonition" to the Jewish citizens of Israel or all Jews in the world? Do Jews outside Israel bear any responsibility for the actions of the IDF?

You will get my answer, and it goes: It depends on if they support what Israel is doing against Palestinians in Gaza and on the West Bank.

Just what part of this did you not understand?

"only one side is wanted internationally on charges of war crimes: The Jews."

There are no warrants out for Hamas or anyone else involved, from this conflict only Jews have warrants out for their arrest on war crime charges (and crimes against humanity). 🙂

Nick, we already know you support Israel engaging in genocide and ethnic cleansing.

All you need to do now is accept the reaction to these Israeli atrocities.

With rhetoric from there supporters like this Israel wonders why the majority of the World thinks they are a pariah state.

Herr Gottfrid -- makes for good virtue signaling but it's a VERY STUPID response when applied to real life in the diaspora.

So consider all the Jews in the diaspora, men, women, and children.

In the USA anyway, most are secular and cultural "lox and bagel -- Seinfeld" Jews at best.

They are NOT Israelis.

Of those a certain percentage could probably be visible enough as Jewish people or perhaps you see them in a Jewish space like a temple or Jewish film festival.

Of those, way less than one percent could be reasonably identified as being not only supportive of Israel in general but ALSO explicitly in support of the described actions against Palestinian Arabs.

By way of something like wearing an IDF t-shirt, etc.

So what are you gonna do, Herr Gottfrid?

Are you going up each and every visible or just "suspected" Jew and ask about their political views on Israeli policy?

Of course you aren't.

BTW -- the majority of them are going to be just like most of the other goofballs in the general public and not following politics closely at home or abroad.

So if a terrorist kills some random Jews in a temple in Canada and 5 of 10 of the murder victims turned out to be pro Israeli government policy is that 50 percent a good deed?

What if you go to an ER and you see the name tag of your ER doctor happens to be Dr. Goldberg.
Uh oh! A Jew. What do you do? Interview him about Israeli politics first?

IF you had said I will being feeling very negatively towards any Jew globally wearing an IDF shirt, then OK, I actually would easily get that. I feel very negatively to any person I see, American or not, wearing a Maga fascist red hat.

I was talking about actions against Jewish civilians in the diaspora.

Nothing at all to do with your troll baiting question.

If you think that's a reasonable comparison, you've totally lost the plot.

Hatred poisons the mind, I guess.

I had no problem understanding anything you wrote. Your words could give the impression that the ICC suspected only Israel of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity. I was correcting that possible misconception.

Moreover, the ICC doesn't charge "sides." only individuals. Basically, the ICC believed leaders of both Hamas and Israel were guilty of war crimes. Two living Israelis and one dead Palestinian were issued warrants, while the applocations for warrants against two other dead Hamas leaders were withdrawn.

I commend Nick on his honesty, he is only saying out loud what other pro Israel posters think but won’t admit.

Incidentally, Spain & Ireland have just joined in the complaint to the ICC, expect to see more.

So according to you, it's CENSORED to talk about how most Palestinian Arabs would like to see the Jews of Israel gone and/or dead.

I don't accept your unfair rules.

1 minute ago, stevenl said:

NO!

The diaspora scenario was about TERRORISTS attacking INNOCENT civilians just because they were assumed to be Jewish people in an area of the world not in an active war.

Why do you LIE so much?

I guess you're fishing for this so I'll repeat again:

I consider Netanyahu a war criminal.

Israel was totally and legally justified in responding the music festival massacre but they went way overboard in doing so.

Charges of genocide against the Israeli government are fully justified pending final officially recognized judgement just as such charges as against any government.

Israel is one of MULTIPLE nations in the world right now that can be reasonably charged with genocide yet for some reason (Jews) Israel is the only one that gets over 99 percent of the world's attention.

Zionism only means support for the right of Israel to exist, have political self determination and defend itself. It does not necessarily mean support for the actions of the Israeli government. Those things are NOT the same. Some Zionists do, some don't. Compare to Russians. There is nothing wrong with loving Russia. There is a lot wrong with supporting Z fascist genocidal dictator Putin.

These are the ones I wear to the food court of a local mall where Palestinian teenagers hang out. Mall security is not happy with me. The first one is my favorite. I wear them because the teenagers harassed an elderly Jewish lady for wearing a Star of David pendant. Better they try to harass me. 😀

It was rather tame actually .

The vast majority of pro Palestinians support the removal of an ethnic group from the land , they just want Jews to be removed .

I have the same opinion that your side does, just roles reversed .

Some of your side even claim it would be better to kill all Jews , I don't want anyone to be killed .

I would be a moderate if I was on your side

Hmmm, so no-one has been able to answer the question I posed early on in the piece, which was, "From what very little history I have read on the subject, it would appear that the hatred of Jews goes way back before the Middle Ages, and I wonder why this is??

Why is a race of people despised for centuries upon centuries – – can someone answer me "WHY this is"?

A simple question and no answer, and it is not a "trick question", so come on you knowledgeable posters, what is the reason?

50,000 women and children killed in 2.5 years. Often systematically and evidence it was often done as sport. 🙂

Israel has shown many times in the past they have the technology and ability to take out an enemy combatant with minimal or no collateral damage. 🙂
